At the time, I was expected to work near Detroit, which became impossible due to the breakdown. I was provided a loaner vehicle--a Chevy Impala with worn tires during winter conditions--despite the possibility that I could be required to drive several hours on short notice. For several days, I received no updates regarding the status or location of my vehicle. After initiating multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly told, "I don't know," until I escalated the issue to management. Matt, the manager, was professional and communicative and ultimately confirmed where the vehicle had been sent. I had a safe in the trunk of my vehicle containing valuable items. Unfortunately, I was unable to retrieve them because I was unaware of the vehicle's whereabouts. To avoid further delays, I personally contacted the dealership and received clear information within minutes--something Blue Knob had been unable to provide after multiple days. By that point, the condition of the loaner vehicle required new tires for basic safety during a 5-6 hour drive. Once my vehicle was finally repaired, I was still required to wait for Blue Knob to retrieve it before I could do the same. During my visit to the service center, I overheard staff making disrespectful remarks regarding my request for safe tires on the loaner vehicle, among other comments. I was also informed that I should not have contacted the dealership directly and instead should have waited 3-5 business days for updates through Blue Knob. While Blue Knob presents itself as highly corporate and professional, internal communication and customer treatment do not reflect those standards. Clients should be aware that concerns regarding safety and timely communication may be met with dismissal rather than support.

The salesman and I waited an hour for the sales manager to come back from his lunch so he could do the appraisal on my current car. Now mind you I had this car there not 3 months ago because I was interested in purchasing a new truck then. The appraisal then was $9000. Granted I get the engine is going to cost roughly 4k so I'm guessing they'll come back around $4500ish. Boy was I wrong. They offered me $1000 for my trade in. A thousand bucks! So I asked why on earth is it so low. The sales manager says it's because the engine cost $7000. Ahhhh no. The service manager just quoted me $3875! So he goes and talks to the service manager who of course back tracks and says it's impossible to find the engine anywhere. And the sales manager says that's why it's so low. I think at this point he forgot everyone carries the internet in their pocket. I pulled out my phone and after a 5 second search and a 30 second phone call I find an engine for $2950 with a 5 year / 50k miles warranty. I give him this info. He increases the offer to $2000. Give me a break.... The first salesman says he'll see what he can do and give me a call before he leaves at 5:30. Here I sit the next day 24 hours later with no call back.

I had actually been putting off the inevitable for as long as I could, I knew I needed a new vehicle and I knew it had to be soon, but I was worried about the amount I still owed on my vehicle, the negative equity and how it would effect me on the purchase of a new vehicle. But the time to sit around and do nothing was over and I had to act. I came here after much hesitation and my dad in tow. As soon as we got there we went in and went right to the desk of the guy that helped my brother, Dave. Dave was very professional during this whole endeavor. He didn't hold anything back and did not sugar coat anything. I'm already anxious because of what I am about to do, but he put me at ease. While he ran my information I went out to the lot to look at vehicles and see what tickled my fancy. I had a few in mind and went in to see what the numbers were looking like. He cut through all the possibles and told me that my best option was to purchase a new vehicle because of a few things. Rebates, trade in value of my vehicle, and the negative equity that I would be carrying over. I knew it would come to that, so I was already preparing myself. With that he showed me some options as to what vehicles were within my preferences that I showed up with. I wanted something that was all wheel drive, decent on gas mileage, and was an SUV. He pulled up a vehicle up front a few minutes later and told me to take it for a test drive. I got in and felt like it was a good match. I know you are not suppose to fall in love with the first thing you see, but this felt right. It was quiet, clean, a smooth ride, and basically everything I was looking for in one vehicle. After the test drive I looked that vehicle over from head to toe, inside and out. Making sure that this was what I wanted because I knew this was going to be my life for the next several years. Went inside and followed up with the paper work. That always take a few minutes so they started it while I was out test driving. There wasn't much of a wait for me on that part. The only wait was to see what banks were going to come back with approval and interest rates. I got the best rate I have ever had on a vehicle with this turn. While they were finalizing the vehicle I went out to my current vehicle and gathered up everything that was in there so I could transfer it over. When the paperwork went through and all the signing was done, I got my keys for my first ever, new purchased vehicle. I ended up walking out of there with my hands full. Manual, keys, hat, business cards for contact info, papers...my head was buzzing, I felt like I was on a high. But that's not where the amazing professionalism stopped. Dave walked out to my new vehicle with me and showed me how everything in it worked. From lights to the touch screen radio, he did not let me leave there until I had a basic knowledge of where everything was in the car. They also gave it a quick once over in the vehicle, making sure it was clean, they would have washed the exterior for me if it wasn't raining that day. Great customer service continues after the purchase. The first oil change is on them. And if you continue to go back for your oil changes you pay for three and get the fourth free. I also believe that state inspections are done for free here with the time your own the car. I definitely felt at ease with such a trying and anxiety filled endeavor. What vehicle did I get you ask? 2020 Kia Sportage...a perfect fit for me.

it is like a nightmare trying to deal with this business, i bought a new 2025 jayco camper and have…read moreneeded warantee work. the service manager ryan is ignorant dealing with customers and knows nothing about campers. i have had several bad experiences with him. when i first picked up camper it had a few problems that needed repaired. he told me they were minor repairs and that i could take camper home and make the repairs myself. my solar panel was not charging my battery and he told me a solar panel was just a sales gimmick and really didn't do anything. i did research on my own and found out that solar panel was never programed to charge my battery ans wasn't working (fixed myself). my recent experience was the second trip for warantee work. the cable that operates the sewer drain valve would not work and i took to have repaired. i waited a couple weeks and then got a call it was repaired. i drove 40 minutes to get the camper, hooked up to it and decided to try sewer cable before leaving. guess what, they installed a new sewer cable (i could see they opened the bottom of the camper) and the cable would still not work. wouldn't you think someone would have tryed to operate it before telling me to pick up. i dread dealing with this place and wish i could get my money back on my purchase. would never buy here again

At no time did anybody there offer to install the rotors on a brake lathe. Getting the screaming angry lady at the desk to give us the brake rotors was a nightmare. Not only is Bruce K's reply way over due, but it is absolutely false. I have been recommending that people avoid Moxham Mobile and will continue to do so.
