More than a year after our wedding, we continue to receive kind words and requests for wedding…read moreadvice/ reviews from friends and acquaintances. We hope our review here is helpful to you as well. The presence of fresh flowers at our wedding really added to the day, and we are glad we had them. We worked with Erin Reed at Floral Events for numerous bouquets and table centerpieces for our wedding ceremony and reception. She was kind, helpful and efficient in the initial stages of designing everything despite covid issues that kept popping up. She also spent time with us to talk through details of our order and to show us a demo of the bouquets. Erin was even able to incorporate some heirloom items into the bridal bouquet. That bouquet was absolutely lovely and just outstanding. The flowers were much more yellow than we had requested, but it was still nice. She prepared the heirloom items by hand and ensured they looked elegant with the flowers in the bridal bouquet, which meant a lot to us. The other bouquets and centerpieces, however, arrived on the day of the wedding with mixed, disappointing results. A couple were lovely but the majority had clearly been hastily put together and not in the form we had agreed upon in our contract and invoice. For example, vases were used for bouquets where we had asked for them to be wrapped in paper and vice versa. Many of the flowers were dyed in an odd color we had not requested. They also looked nothing like the demo bouquets, which was disappointing and confusing since the bridal bouquet was so exceptional. None of this ruined our wedding day, but we have not hired Floral Events for other milestones we have had since working with them. We have avoided hiring them again as quality control seems to be an issue for them internally.

This used to be a great shop offering creative arrangements at a fair price. I had ordered…read morearrangements from it for years with much satisfaction. Recently, I was very disappointed with a delivery that was for a local hospital. My friend had been discharged by the time the arrangement made it there a day late. The follow-up email requested a different address, which I provided expecting good service. A week later, I learned that nothing had been delivered although my card had been charged. When I alerted the shop to the error, it sent an arrangement I could have had from a grocery store for half the price. Worse, the size of the bouquet was not as pictured in the webpage example. The explanation: the photos are only to illustrate color. BS! What a rip-off. Like flowers, somethings do not endure. This shop's quality certainly has not. Do you think this was with $90?

I cannot say enough good things about this floral business. Everyone here goes out of their way to…read morebe incredibly kind and we end up talking forever to them about life and of course flowers. We met Nino and he walked us through all the flowers and explained where they source each one from. You can tell they care so much for their florals and plants. They come from all over the world. The orchids and roses are especially breathtaking. This business is here for the people and to spread joy and it's shown through their arrangements and how much care they put into learning your story. We even each got a rose to take home. It's an unassuming store front and we called ahead to let them know we are coming. Plenty of parking and you can knock on their door when you arrive. Please please support this business. They've been doing this for 20+ years and are spectacular. Nino handmade us an arrangement that is worth way more than we paid. We told him the vibe and he went through all of them to pick us the prettiest flowers.

My Mom used to take care of all of those things so now I help when I can. I looked online & funeral flowers are crazy expensive! Hundreds of dollars! I called, asked what they had in stock that we could pick up within the hour and the person otp gave me instructions on how to see the arrangements & prices online. They were very helpful and said they would hold the arrangement I liked for me. I sent our son to the shop with my credit card to pick up the arrangement & meet my Dad at the funeral home. The flowers were beautiful! My Dad was super happy & proud to not walk in empty handed. So thank you Scent & Violet for giving us a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day!!

In May 2025, I was so excited that I found the decorator/florist of my dreams for my wedding in…read moreWillis, TX in September 2026. Sarah was kind, and understood my vision, even recommending something that I didn't even think of, but represented my fiancé and I to a "T". Because I am a resident in California, I informed Sarah that I would not be able to attend anything in person given the distance. She assured me that she would be able to video chat with me at the floral vendor to talk flowers, which (again) I thought was a great touch to accommodate me. I was so excited! In August 2025, Sarah reached out to me to check-in about the wedding planning and to confirm that my vision for the day was still the same. Because I had moved during August, I was unable to have a conversation with her until I was all settled in after my move in early September 2025. I am a Type-C bride (between organized and laid-back), so I thought it odd for her to call me to see if my vision changed. She informed me that many brides change their vision for their wedding multiple times before deciding on the design, so the 1-year check-in was normal. I really appreciated that attention to detail. I let her know that my vision was still the same and she commented on how easy of a bride I was. We chuckled and I thanked her for reaching out. In May 2026, my fiancé and I decided to cancel the wedding in Texas and have it in California. We reached out to every vendor (venue/caterer, florist/decorator, DJ and photographer) letting them know and they all got back to us immediately--except for All The Pretty Things. I sent follow-up emails, went to their website and placed an inquiry and called them without a response. It is mid-July and I still have not heard from them. They have not confirmed they received my cancellation emails, and they have not responded to the voicemail I left. According to Google reviews, they are under new management and it shows. If my wedding in September 2026 was still happening, no one has called me to discuss table mock-ups or florals as indicated in my initial call. I've received no responses to anything! In summary, if you are a bride looking to use this company, I do not recommend. While Sarah was helpful and understood my vision, the company as a whole is not good. I gave 2 stars for the two (2) times I spoke with Sarah and had a good experience with her. I do not know who the manager is, but I can say that communication is POOR. If my wedding in September 2026 was still going to happen, I sure don't know that anything would be there because no one has called me.
