Then some months later, someone close to me told me that they'd basically turned over the entire initial crew, and that the people working there are much more capable. Now, make no mistake, this isn't a cut on the level of say Phil's in downtown New Haven -- there's little blending of the sides, my neck wasn't shaved with a razor, and she didn't do a great job around my ears. As a comparable, this cut was as easily as good as what I recently got at Sports Clips in Milford, where the regular price is $19 and they're pushing washes hard so you're likely to be paying something like $22+ tip.
