Drove all the way from Charlotte, NC to Salem,SC for vacation only to find out we didn't have a key to the house. It had fallen out of my wallet somewhere along the way. My daughter was visiting a friend in Clemson SC this weekend and locked her keys in her Jeep Wrangler on a Sunday. Fred was nice and changed out a lock for me when I called him several times. I had problems with the lock the next evening when I got home. I called Fred and he came over and fixed it. Then two days later I went out to leave and couldn't get the lock to lock until after the fourth try. I have called him and left a message asking him to please come check it out but Fred hasn't called me back nor will he answer his phone when I call him. My husband ran a business of his own for years until he passed away and he never ignored or mistreated any of his customers. My daughter had locked her keys in her car. The service was very fast. He was there in less than 5 minutes...nothing to complain about there....but on the phone he told me one price and then charged me another. He said it was because it wasn't during regular business hours. I would not have had a problem with the price, except he told me one thing and when I asked about it he said that was not true.
