Their staff is helpful, and I have started toward glasses that are the right size and look good. They helped me understand my Mom's Medicare diabetic visit and what is covered by her insurance. Over the years we had double coverage. The staff navigated and explained the pros and cons of the benefits of each plan and helped us use the most cost-effective options from each of the plans. They have fixed my kid's glasses countless times for free. They are the best.

His staff is rude and for the past year and a half I've had nothing but problems with them. Today I had the most appalling experience with the staff at this eye doctor office. I called to ask if I could get a free contact lens because my order won't be delivered until Tuesday, and today is Friday. I explained that I couldn't see while driving and needed the contact lens urgently. However, the staff member who answered the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of showing any empathy or understanding, they spoke to me in a condescending and patronizing tone, telling me that I should have planned better and had gotten my glasses updated even though it took 20 phone calls to get my contacts ordered. They made me feel like I was a burden to them and that my situation was insignificant. I couldn't believe how unprofessional and callous the staff member was. Their lack of empathy and understanding was truly shocking, and I was left feeling frustrated and disheartened. I will never return to this eye doctor office again, and I strongly advise anyone looking for eye care to avoid it at all costs. Sometimes i express an issue and I can see a disapproving look and agitation. So most times I after being asked how am I? I would just answer "ok" even though I wasn't. And she knew that. It was blamed on another condition. After months of visits she finally said the magic words.."I don't know". Was referred but she never checked to see how I was. I even called and was told by the techs/desk she would not see me until the other doctor saw and cleared me. Don't I as a patient have a choice? Not in this case. The new doctor is now treating this complication from surgery done. I just wished I was referred earlier than letting things worsen blaming it on pre-existing conditions. On the other hand, the office is nice and runs like clockwork to see you.

I could not be more pleased! All the options were explained to me to achieve the best outcome, and Dr. Ann listened and helped me decide on what was best for me. This is a busy practice and the waiting room is generally full, but things more quickly and the whole staff is helpful and attentive. So glad I went to Williams Eye Institute!

She told me I'd have to see a plastic surgeon and my insurance would not cover it. That it would cost thousands of dollars. Very curt, and uncaring. Charged me $60 for visit. I then visited another optometrist who said he could remove in the office and my insurance will cover. He also asked to give me a cataract exam and told me I had cataracts. What a difference.
