So I emailed this dealership from Cargurs and was assigned a sales associate, which was very nice…read moreto me over emails and over the phone. So like the next day I get a text from her and I'm like okay, I go up and see the vehicle (45 minute drive) and the vehicle is sitting out front with the doors locked. Kinda thought this was a sales tactic, you know to see the sales associate before peeking inside but also could of been to keep other people out, I dunno? So she makes a copy of my drivers licenses and explains its company policy that she must come along. No biggie, The more the merrier. I go on to explain I work on cars, mainly to let her know I'm well aware of what's up with this vehicle and please don't lie to me, cause it won't work but in a much more nonchalant type of way. So test drive she had planned was kinda short and asked if we could go for a little bit loner, she kindly said sure but we like to keep a certain route and was kinda pressured to hurry up and get back. Well when we got back to the dealership it was kinda dark and asked if I could see the vehicle in a certain light, maybe inside any area that was well lit. She told me I could not. But then when I went to check the air filter, she told me that I couldn't check that. She said that I couldn't "take the vehicle apart" which now I'm starting to wonder what's really goin on here? I'm looking at the air filter here not rebuilding the transmission. lol But the manger says this and the manger says that. Which in all honesty, I find very hard to believe unless there's something to be hidden? So on the test drive the vehicle shuddered and it was due to the fact after almost 85,xxx miles the rear differential was never serviced and neither was the transmission. But she had an excuse for that too. I went on to look under the vehicle and found to be a lot of rust for the miles. We went in and I made an offer and for her to even have the manager consider it, I had to sign a piece of paper committing to purchase. Okay so let's recap... I've had 4-5 minute walk around with the car, 10-15 min test drive and boom, we are back talking numbers, she's showing me a $750 work sheet which consists of an oil change, car detail, a couple of wipers and in cabin air filter. (Which would of cost anyone about $80) I'm feeling rushed and now we are doing child like sales tactics? Writing your name and committing to buy a car that I can't even really look at! Absolutely ridiculous!!! We were $600 away from the deal which was $2000+ over what KBB value and keep that in mind if you ever try and trade here. It's also the lowest for trade value but then want to try and sell you for full retail? I don't know how these dealerships train their employees but having someone hover over your back is not a way to do it. Just felt like it was super sketchy the moment I walked into that showroom. At least no managers tried to bombard me as I walked out.

Found a truck here that caught my interest. Called and…read morespoke with Jamie. Asked her to send some additional pictures. She told me the sale price, I gave her a counter offer , and she accepted. Came to the dealership two days later to look at the truck in person. Tony H. asked if I needed any help. He showed me the truck and I told him I'd take it. +++My Overall experience was great.+++ The only negative, I asked if they could take the running boards off the truck (simple request, only removing 8 bolts to remove the running boards), but the service department would not do it unless I paid an additional fee.

Now I see why they have so many poor reviews! They wouldn't tow my car even though I'd already paid…read morethrough State Farm for them to do so. They said I had to be there or give them the key. I said I'm on the phone with you right now and I give you permission. She said I had to sign. I said send me a text or an email and I will. She said no you have to in person. Seriously? What century are we living in? I guess that how backwards rural Ohio works! Ohhhh someone got their feelings hurt! See below. My car is dead and I'm just going to junk it so I don't give an F what you do to it. My business is the government, since you asked, so I hope you have all your books in order. You make a lot of assumptions representing my thoughts in your response. And guess what? They're all wrong. The car was unlocked and it can be put in neutral without the keys. I didn't leave them there bc the good ole boys (your relatives?) at the garage were armed and there was no way I was leaving my keys with them. So what on earth am I trying to get for nothing? YOU ALREADY HAD MY MONEY! So despite your pseudo-intellectual rant (to put it charitably), nothing you said matches the truth in this case. But don't take it from me, Yelp readers, take it from the other one star reviews here. Maybe if you were a little smarter and kind (like the woman on the phone there) then maybe you wouldn't get hosed so often, but keep on doing your thing. Oh and by the way, a docusign document, with digital signature takes about 30 seconds to prepare and upload. I'm sure you're way too busy for that though.
