I could not have been more pleased with the service here (obviously, since I left a 5 star rating). I chose them because we started to feel like we were getting ripped off (lots of hidden charges) at the last place we went. I wanted to stay close to home and find a small business to support. I looked to yelp! and saw all the 5 star reviews and gave them a shot, and I'm so glad I did!. The got me scheduled quickly with no problem, and the oil change took exactly as long as they said it would and COST EXACTLY WHAT THEY QUOTED ME OVER THE PHONE. If you've ever gotten an oil change you know how amazing that phrase is, right there. Every time I've gone to a chain store for an oil change it's at least 25-30% higher than the quote or the price on the sign. They also upsell you everything they can and it's intimidating if you hate saying no and you know little about cars. Not here. I got an oil change and an inspection and no upselling whatsoever. I was also told that anytime I need them to check my levels (oil, tires, whatever), to just pop in and they'll do it for free. This was a service the last guys offered and I was worried about missing at a new shop. While I was there I started talking to them and we had a great conversation. I was treated like a PERSON and not just a wallet walking through the door. This was seriously one of the best customer experiences I've had since moving to Columbus. So glad we switched our business here.

I've worked extensively with Ron and his crew for the last 2-3 years on a mustang GT car I've been…read morebuilding and they've delivered in every way imaginable. Ron has never turned away a project I've offered him and he's always gotten jobs done in a timely manner. Mistakes are few and far between here, but he's always rectified any without charging me and he truly stands behind his work and wants to help you, not suck you dry of every dollar you have. Never once has he recommended I get something done that my vehicle doesn't truly need. I've had several emergencies where I've had to drop vehicles off overnight with disabling problems and he's always had it fixed and back to me the next day. Everything culminated when the shop slapped a supercharger on my car and I couldn't be happier. That's a pretty tall task for a shop to undertake, but Ron's crew did it right and I'm still rolling around and shredding tires with it a year later with no problems reported. No matter what you need done, this shop will do it reliably.

Very knowledgeable mechanics and very nice to employers in general, but very expensive place for…read morerepairs. I usually take my car in for oil, filter and tire rotation, $45 or so, not bad. However, any mechanical repair is extremely expensive. I received an estimate to change the sway away bars, rear suspension/rear shock absorbers and change the tripods for close to $1,500. I found a local small shop mechanic that did it for less than $700. Also, on another vehicle, the horn wasn't working, so Oxford gave me an estimate to fix it for $450. I reviewed YouTube videos and was able to fix it myself, since the problem was simply that the ground cable was not making contact. Bought a 2' copper cable, changed the horn and changed the plug, all for less than $60. Yes, $450 vs $60. Again, I don't think they are bad mechanics, but way too pricey. Won't go back.
