We seem to have the best time whenever we visit this one. The only real downside is it being in downtown and the parking situation.

The variety of books and media are extensive. I especially love some of the newly released books that they have at all of the libraries. We recently went to the Point of Rocks library to use the Memory Lab (which is a very nice service that the library offers) to use the equipment and digitize some videos. The librarians and the volunteer who helped us went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked well. We really appreciate everything that FCPL has to offer!!

This is a great little library. There's not a huge variety since it's a two room library (one for…read morebooks, one for events) but the librarians are always smiling and cheerful. Living in Ballenger Creek, it's actually more convenient for me to go online and have books transferred here for an easy pick up instead of going to the downtown branch and struggling with parking. They hold a fair amount of events as well, such as story times and holiday crafts for kids. The kids area is pretty well stocked for limited space. There's a small, ok tiny, play area but the puzzles and two iPads should keep the little ones occupied for a bit. There is only one computer for patron use but there's rarely a delay in waiting for it. IMPORTANT: check hours before visiting! They are open Monday-Wednesday and Saturday only, with only afternoon/evening hours on Wednesday.

That is why to this day, this library is referred to as free as even now, in many countries, the use of libraries come at a cost. The library was well-organized and well-stocked. Yes, easily removable on a gloss surface, generally. HOWEVER, direct-to-paper pricing stickers are a complete dealbreaker for 1960s-1980s matte paperbacks. Vintage paperbacks from publishers like Ace, DAW, and Ballantine used uncoated covers. Trying to peel them off with alcohol or ever a dryer ruin the book's value and is heartbreaking for lovers of old paperbacks. It's unfortunate.

They have special collections and databases on Virginia, the Civil War, Military history, and the Underground Railroad. There are a few computers available with internet. It's a great place to hang out if you want to read or study. They have beautiful murals and great artwork. It's right in downtown Leesburg, and there is parking.

The library is nicely organized and spaced out throughout. It can be a busy and robust location with visits coming and going. Yet, never too much noise. Staff is helpful when asked for assistance. Overall, each and every time, family... friends... and I always feel welcome. This location is a delight by far.

This library has no sense of quiet at all. The employees often speak loudly and seem unaware of how…read moremuch noise they are making. They also do not ask other visitors to lower their voices, even when people are having loud conversations. A library should be a peaceful place to read, study, and concentrate, but that is very difficult here. The staff should make a greater effort to maintain a quiet environment. THEIR IS LITERALLY A MAN SLEEPING AND SNORING SO LOUDLY and the staff has said/done nothing. This is unacceptable!!!
