I did a Google search and took a leap offaith, and here we are two years later so grateful for the customized services we get. Sandy is very hands-on with scheduling and goes out of her way to make sure the house cleaner and the client are a good match. She is very sensitive and thoughtful and understands individual unique situations. We mostly had a house cleaner named Johanna who is perfection. Not only does she do a thorough cleaning, but my aunt considered her weekly appointment a visit. She was so personable and friendly. Whenever she couldn't come, Sandy sent wonderful Replacements , keeping in mind how picky my aunt is. I find it very convenient to handle bookings and payment through the app automatically. Highly recommend this business

Knowing I wouldn't have time to clean once I finished packing, I found NY Maids online and called, hoping to get someone that same afternoon. I'm so glad I did -- not only was the person who booked my appointment terrific in explaining everything, but she sent Pedro a couple hours later, and he was absolutely wonderful. So kind and easy-going, and did an incredible job! Even my super, who stopped by to see how the move-out was going, was impressed. If you need someone who knows how to thoroughly and spotlessly clean a kitchen and bathroom, Pedro is your guy. Thank you again, NY Maids!

Good stuff: The women arrived punctually - were organized, active and careful - used my own vacuum cleaner. Bad stuff: It was booked for 3 hours but they were ready to leave in under 2.5 hours - their own products were for a light clean but not for robust heavy cleaning - my bathtub was not scrubbed, just wiped down - they used a Swiffer for floor cleaning - I found places that were not dusted at all. So, average for maintenance cleaning but not great for deep dive cleaning.

What I got was the opposite, they left the apartment dirtier than before! One cleaner showed up with her teenage son, who was shirtless and sitting in the middle of the apartment when we arrived. Despite charging me for 8 hours, they stayed for 4 hours stating it's a team of 2 professionals... When I returned after the cleaning, most of the apartment was UNTOUCHED including basics like the vanity or appliances! I brought this to their attention and they sent the team back but I wasn't there. I came back the next day to find a horrible smell, and the toilet had been used and left unflushed, with pee stains on it!!! Absolutely disgusting, the apartment was more unsanitary after their visit than before!!! I reached out to the company and their customer service rep Julie tried her best, but ignored my request for a refund. No response, no accountability. I paid almost $600 for this nonsense!!! SHAME ON YOU. AVOID this company at all costs, you'll spend more time cleaning up after them than before they came!

Unfortunately, when my last tenants moved out, they cancelled the electricity service. I arrived around 7 PM and found two ladies cleaning the apartment with flashlights. I didn't know how "deep" the cleaning would be using the flashlights. But when I came back in the morning, everything was perfectly cleaned. I can only say great things about their services.
