I am on Disability, 69 year old woman and couldn't afford anything else. He came to my home. I was watching and Toby the business owner told me to go inside my house. He and a friend began working on my car. When he was done I came out and inspected my can. The drivers door has dents, scratched , black corroded stickers, mirror is scratched and does not work, the window tint is messed up , has a big gap on my drivers door that my van would not start and had to spend money for a locksmith to open the drivers door. The door light made my van battery die. Toby put on a fender, all dented, plastic that is stuck and the fender is put on wrong so it has a gap between fender and hood. The headlight he put on the headlight looks old and scratched bad and blinker does not work. I tried to put in another brand-new blinker light and it still does not work. There also is a loose wire there. I showed him and Toby said he would come back. I payed Toby thru Jim.com 1263.37. Dollars on my Wells Fargo credit card. Kept asking when he will come back and fix this mess he made on my van. He said next week. We were texting back and forth. I told him I needed a sliding door. He had put holes in the old one and my sliding door was messed up. So I needed another. He quoted me 600.00 for sliding door. I said OK. I will save the money. Then Toby said, I will make you a deal of 400.00. That 1263.35, Toby said I could take 60.00 dollars out of there. He said he needed 60.00 more of what I payed him and I could have that back. He kept asking me, "When do you want the door?" I went and borrowed 340.00 from a friend which made 400.00. I gave Toby the 340.00 thru Zelle on my Wells Fargo bank account. It came out of my Debit card this time. So I waited and waited. Toby kept making excuses. He never came back with my sliding door, never gave me my money back and never came back to fix any mess he made on my van. I requested my money thru Zelle to him. And he declined it. I kept texting him and xalling and he would ignore my calls and texts. So after months of his dishonesty I decided I was going to take this man to court. I sent him a demand letter and an envelope with all the evidence. He ignored my demand letter and envelope with all my evidence that was certified papers for court. I have 4 years to take this man. In the meantime Im saving money to take him. I told Toby and showed him on a text the things I sent him. I also showed him the bad reviews on the internet and all the people he did wrong too. I also showed him he has been sued before ny someone. He text me back and wanted a contract made. He wanted to pay me the money back. 100.00 a month till I get my money back. I sent him the contract thru my email so he could read it. It was signed by me. Toby said he would be coming over to sign. Made me wait twice that he said he would come. This was Sept 2026 . Never came again. Toby kept making excuses not to come and sign. So now Im waiting to take Toby Pete to court. This is a warning to people who hire him.
