From initial quote, where the team even connected via text to have a clear understanding of my tint request, to the after service care, it's been great. The pricing is in line with most of the tint shops in the area (I quoted around) but this one was very friendly with zero pressure. Other shops would not allow me to partially tint and insisted I needed to do every single window on my vehicle at once. The service itself was very efficient. They matched the prior tint perfect, and the guys were very well informed. I truly felt like I was in expert hands and they kept it friendly and casual while maintaining professionalism. It was a quick turnaround and their appointments were timely. After a few days I started to notice bubbling on my windshield, I was worried because the windshield does not come with any warranty here but because the bubbling was on the edges they honored the repair, offered for me to come in same day, and I waited less than 10 minutes even though they had other appointments. Communication with this office and staff was almost non-existent…read more My originally scheduled chip repair for my Subaru Forester showed no at home appointments through my insurance even 2 months out, so I was forced to drive 50 minutes one way to this office location. The team was unable to repair the chip and had resigned myself to this result as this was the 3rd chip on this windshield in 3 years. I was also fine with dropping the vehicle off for a scheduled drop off appointment the next Saturday, even though the office manager originally told me they could come to my house for the service, he mistook my car for a Toyota. Evidently home windshield swaps are not possible with Subarus due to the calibration service needed. Where this became immensely frustrating is in Safelite and this particular office's lack of communication. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. The office closes at 5 PM. They tell you to keep your eye on your phone for updates. I was originally told it was a 3-4 hour service. It hits 3:30 and no updates. I try calling, and there's no direct office line, only an AI and a general customer service line eventually, who also can't reach the office after numerous attempts. I take a rideshare to the office at 4:30 PM after zero communication and they haven't even begun working on my vehicle. The woman at the front desk explains they stay until all of their appointments are completed, and hands me a business card with the office line, says I should be able to get through. She says they'll call when they're about an hour out from wrapping up since I live 50 minutes away. I head home. No call comes. I try calling the number on the two business cards, neither work. I head over at 7:30, 3 hours later. I FINALLY receive a call while I'm on my way: "Your vehicle is ready, are you coming to pick it up?" Yeah, I was, but absolutely no thanks to the lack of communication from your office and staff. What an absolute waste of time and poor excuse for customer service. Besides all of this, my car was returned with a dirty headliner and the camera piece on the right side of the vehicle by the glass popped out. Avoid Safelite if you can, and absolutely avoid this location until their office line is at least functional. The only positive is that the transaction and repair was smoothly processed through my insurance.
