Service is quick! Love the music! Food was tasteful, only con is that the Homemade tortilla fell apart to quick before I was half way through my taco. Overall great food!

It started with a male worker telling us to wait to be seated because I was peaking around a corner to see what type of seating they had. I was really looking forward to trying out their Chili Rellenos. Boy, what a let down. I had to use a knife to cut it? Inside were chunks of some type of cheese? Normally, it is a melted cheese. Ick. I attached pic. Their salsa was more of a marinera sauce. I asked for a more Mexican type salsa and the girl was confused. She brought me a green sauce and different red sauce. At least she tried. First and last time to this restaurant for us.

Ok so I was told about this place and was told it was a good spot to eat. Right off from the Jump I didn't like that they weren't serving alcohol due to license not being approved yet lol so that sucked. Jumping right into the food, I ordered the Chile Relleno y " dos flautas de pollo" now I'm saying that with parentheses because that's what I thought I was getting. The Chile relleno was good, cheese inside was actual queso fresco but was not that spicy which is a hit or miss with those type of chiles. Now the sauce on top I did not like, it was more of a tomato sauce I would rather have salsa on top. The "flautas" was actually ONE cut in half lol and was decent but not great. Rice and beans were standard just like any other restaurant. All in all this is a place where I would go as a last resort.

The waitress was very rude and they charged my friend and I a service fee for using a credit card, even when my friend paid in cash!

The waitress was very rude and the food all I could say I won't be back. Then they charged my friend and I a card fee for using a credit card, even when my friend paid in CASH. The few cents is no big deal but the principal that no signs warning.

Food was very good! Service, food, music, everything was great. Will definitely keep coming back. Wife and kids all enjoy their meals.

Not the same Freddy's as it used to be. Customer Service is inconsistent now that their restaurant has expanded from the "old"Freddys. Also, food has also become inconsistent. I ordered the fajita's and this is the first time I had fajita's and it did not come out sizzling. Have to remember to order Quesabirria's extra crispy otherwise they come out a little soggy. The positives of the expansion is that there is a larger menu.

It was good. Lots of competition in this town for Mexican restaurants and it doesn't stand out from most of the others

I stopped on Wednesday Oct 9th, 2024 for a quick snack--I hadn't eaten all day, but didn't want to…read moreruin my upcoming dinner. Well forget that (sorry Sweetheart). The little snack was Taqueria's "Quesabirria"--sort of a taco on steroids! The Quesbirria amounts to a corn tortilla sandwich filled with cheese and beef brisket. It is served with a soufflé cup of consumé for dipping (think French dip beef au Jus)! See the pics. I swear, the consumé could be a meal in itself (maybe it is, I'll have to check the menu next time). I watched the kitchen chef ladle the consumé out of a huge caldron on the back burner, fill the foam cup and snap a lid on it. I had no idea that was going to be such a highlight of my to-go order. The corn tortilla was folded over in half like a quesadilla, but the meat filling was huge, more-so than the cheese. And the tortilla itself was supple--wet from dipping in the consumé--I think. The bbq'd taste of brisket, slow-roasted in onions and cilantro, took the flavor profile of the Quesabirria over-the-top of anything you would expect of a quesadilla pretending to be a taco. And as if that wasn't enough, the entry consists of TWO Quesabirrias with another soufflé cup of hot sauce. So here's what I did: I took a bite of the Quesadilla, sipped a small amount of consumé, then took another sip of hot sauce. I was able to make the consumé and the not sauce last through both Quesabirrias. Ask me if I'm ever coming back here again! HA! Taqueria la Cihualteca has won me over! I wish they had Tecati, but I'll settle for Modelo!

The main salon has opened up with the central wall removed and booths turned into tables and chairs. Very nice art on the walls, and excellent lighting, create a very inviting, warm atmosphere. The back wall of the restaurant is now a fully visible open bar with every drink you can imagine. I settled for the Michelada (the Hispanic version of a Bloody Mary with beer, not vodka-- absolutely delicious!) I had the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and I took shrimp in garlic butter sauce home to Sherrie-- my dish is shown. The red enchilada sauce was really excellent-- it made the dish! And the rice and beans were hands-down better than anywhere in Wenatchee. I posted photos of the menu, I hope that helps. They clearly have many more food options than the other photos imply. Search the menus and you'll find something you like-- including steak and seafood. I was told the owners are from the coastal area of Mexico and the menu options reflect that. What's not to like? 5-Stars!
