There are rarely employees around and always have a difficult time finding anyone to help. There are long lines because......no employees are working! With the exception of Lorraine, who is an angel, the rest of the staff comes off as utterly incompetent or exceptionally rude. They techs and pharmacists clearly need to be reminded that they are an essential component of people accessing healthcare and that medication, for most people, is critical to their well-being. I thought I might do my bit to remedy that for my own local, seeing as how they are doing a pretty good job. When I come in, I'm nearly always greeted personally by one of the staff. The service in the pharmacy is efficient and knowledgeable, and they have gone the extra mile on several occasions to interact with my healthcare provider in getting me taken care of. The store is clean and organized, but poorly stocked. I get the impression they are perpetually in the midst of downsizing, and it feels a little early-Covid/Soviet Union with isles of mostly-empty shelves and little selection. That's the only detracting factor, and the missing star. They got it going on where it really counts: customer service and pharmacy efficiency. You could do a WHOLE lot worse in Bellingham - I'm looking at YOU, Walgreens... Recommended.
