Michelle and Dr. Le (pronounced Lay for those of us that need the reminder) are top notch people and very well versed in how to communicate with patients. Furthermore, the care that was shown to me was extraordinary. I don't think I've had the same experience with anyone else. I really liked how they charted my history and Dr. Le used a white board, which is so brilliant because I could visually see all of my options (versus remembering them). Together, they are a class act and therein if you're looking for a new Doctor, I highly recommend you give them a try. Today I picked up my medication (for my breathing ailment) and am hoping in a few days I'll be feeling much better. Thanks (again) Dr. Le and Michelle!!!

In the very beginning when he first started and was a brand new doctor, he was awesome. Now he's a total jerk and he has his uneducated office staff and PA running the business. just a few of our most prominent issues: 1. I was extorted by the front office, that he would not see me unless I paid a missed appointment, which I did not schedule. 2. The office refused to treat me, for a raging bladder infection that they tested me for, even though I'm a regular annual patient. I refused to pay the $50 to come BACK to the office the same day, for the RX. 3. His physicians assistant incorrectly diagnosed me as having HPV. And I had to go to another doctor for an incredibly painful procedure, all for nothing. I did not have HPV. 4. In my opinion Kurtz now has a God complex, he didn't used to. ***5. THEY REFUSED TO TREAT ME, AFTER I LEFT MY URINE SAMPLE....UNLESS I PAID WHAT FEELS LIKE A $50 EXTORTION FEE, in order to give me my prescription. When the doctor says they don't hold back care because of an unpaid balance, that is entirely incorrect, and I believe he's lying. His behavior is reprehensible, and he is fully aware of this. Don't say you weren't warned. ....*add the fact that he stands by his uneducated and extremely unprofessional staff, says even more. Do better Dr Kurtz. Ok.. to start, I never saw Parsa, but this is his office. The staff.. horrible! I was assigned this…read moreoffice with my insurance group and from the first visit to my last straw interaction, this office did not practice Patient CARE.. they practiced I DONT CARE! The front desk staff is so uncaring. They do not know how to exercise basic humane reactions. You walk away from an appt not even have a result. They dont even submit referrals correctly It took me 6 or more months of calling weekly to get them to submit my cpap machine properly. Literally filled out the main referral for the mask only. Called called called and finally gave them a list of codes I received from the providing facility to give them myself cause they were tired of reaching out to parsas staff to correct My last straw.. was recently. I had a stroke and after release from hospital, I was told my primary doc office needs to refer me to cardiology for a heart monitor. I call them and explain I need Tiffany, the PA to refer me to cardiology. Of course they say.. you need an appt. I say not really she just needs to send a referral in so I can get my monitor to rule out Afib as a cause .. the very uncaring receptionist say.. well we can see you on the 11th. Im like.. its the 29th.. so you see waiting 2 weeks is not really good.. I just had a stroke! She says well, sorry parsa is booked and so is Tiffany. I said its an emergency. What's your protocol? She says there is none. I said please place me on hold and ask if she can fit in a tele health visit in the next day or so.. if she literally needs an appt it needs to be sooner. She refused to do that ReFUSED stating protocol. I said so you have NO EMERGENCY PROTOCOL? She said no.. 2 weeks pass and of course.. I jave now had 4 more mini strokes.. NOT Tia's literally brain damaging strokes.. and I get my appt.. so she can refer me to cardiology and I forget to ask for wprk paperwork.. so I called back within three days of that appt.. to get that paperwork and they tell me You need another appt. And it has to be in person. Not a telehealth. I said, no ma'am I just had an appt and this is part of it.. she said no.. I said please just email her and tell her I forgot to ask for that paperwork she said no again amd refused my request three more times before I told her she will indeed get a message to her and if I hear from her lips she needs an appt then we would go from there. Unbelievable how they treat people who need some care and compassion. Horrible place. Yes.. they called back and said, you need an appt. I will never return. I called my neurologist and they had the paperwork I needed emailed to me within 15 minutes! This office will not even call you to give you test results regarding a previous app.. without you paying another office copay. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect for people in all my life. I am a caring and kind person and this office made me feel like a speck of dirt under their shoes.

I've been going to Dr. Shirley Chung and Dr. Rasha Soliman for years now, and they are absolutely wonderful! I love them as my doctors, and they have always been pretty attentive, listen well, and give me sound advice whenever I have a medical issue. The ladies in the front office as well are very kind, cordial, and friendly. I've only had one issue with one of the receptionists, but once in 8 years is a pretty good track record. Overall, everyone is friendly, and I would definitely recommend these doctors to anyone in the area who's seeking medical care. The ISSUE with this office is that you can barely get a hold of anyone! Don't call this office if you're actually very sick and need to be seen. I have lost track of the many times that I have called this doctor's office and hardly ever get someone on the line. It's like playing Russian Roulette. You don't know what you're going to get! Most of the time, I just get the automated answering service. Nobody hardly ever picks up the phone...even during the "open" hours! And then, they have lunch hours where nobody is available to pick up the phones (fair enough), but even when you call and leave messages, most times nobody even calls you back! I love this doctor's office, but it's just VERY hard to reach someone in order to be seen. I don't know if they need a better answering service, or if the ladies are just swamped in the front office (I doubt it, it's not like this doctor's office is ever crowded when I go), or if they're just not hearing the phones or what. But I almost feel like they need someone who just simply answers phone calls, and that's it. I've even considered looking for another doctor in the area because as a patient I feel like I'm not valued or important when I call a doctor's office and nobody picks up the phone, and even when I leave a message, I hardly ever get a call back (20% of the time I MIGHT get a phone call back). Overall, great office, great doctors, friendly staff, but what good is any of that if you can't even reach someone to make an appointment! :(

I'm so glad I found this place! I hadn't had a primary care doctor in over 10 years, and even…read morebefore that, I only had one for about three years. I've always had trust issues with traditional healthcare. Too often, it feels like the focus is on following protocols and prescribing medications rather than understanding the root cause of health problems. I see more and more people struggling with their health despite regularly seeing doctors. Many talk about preventive care, but I've rarely seen it truly put into practice. I've always been passionate about keeping up with the latest medical research, scientific discoveries, and advancements in functional and preventive medicine. I wanted a doctor who was open-minded, looked beyond conventional approaches, and focused on optimizing health rather than simply treating illness. Dr. Matisse offers exactly the kind of care I've been searching for, and at a surprisingly affordable price. Similar practices can cost thousands of dollars a month, making this level of personalized care inaccessible to many people. My first meeting with Dr. Marissa was music to my ears. She spoke about modern approaches to healthcare, the importance of understanding the body as a whole, and using deeper testing and research to identify potential issues before they become serious problems. For the first time, I felt like I was having a conversation with someone who shared my curiosity about health and understood the kind of care I had been looking for all these years. What impressed me most was her willingness to listen, think beyond the standard approach, and have an actual conversation rather than simply rush through an appointment. It's refreshing to find a practice that embraces modern medicine, prevention, and long-term health without charging an outrageous premium. I'm still early in my journey with them, but my first impression has been excellent. I'm genuinely excited to finally have a primary care doctor again, and even more excited that it's someone whose approach to healthcare aligns with what I've believed in for years. I hope more medical practices eventually move in this direction. Healthcare shouldn't just be about managing disease. It should be about understanding our bodies, preventing problems, and helping people live healthier, longer lives.

I had been in the market for medical insurance through Covered CA but the cheapest one I could…read morefind, that also allowed me to go to the doctors I had been going to for years, was a bit expensive. I decided to look into other options and did a search for places I could pay out of pocket. When I lived in Mexico, I had been using the services at a local hospital, paying a monthly membership fee for their services so imagine my surprise when I found out that the exact same system existed here. That was when I found Dr. Marisse so I booked an appointment. I found her originally on Zocdoc and the nearest appointment was in a month and a half. Within a day of making the appointment, I was called by the office to Nurse Shawna who wanted to make sure that I knew that all appointments needed a preliminary chat with the Doc, after which I could book my appointment. thanked me for letting her know that the next available appointment was that far away. It turned out there was a mix-up and that she did have more immediate appointments available. There is plenty of parking, as it is in shared parking lot with other businesses. However, there are two buildings with the same building number but with different locale numbers. Upper Echelon is in the building nearest to the AAA and the Farmer Boys. At the appointment, everything was clearly explained and we went over a sort of plan of attack, with regards to my concerns and what I needed to do. I appreciated paying less per month for the membership, which includes as many appointments as you want. The lab work and the tests are at wholesale prices so even with the membership fee and registration, all of this was cheaper than the plan I was going to get with insurance. What I appreciated was the quickness of getting an appointment. I have always hated waiting a few weeks, as a new patient, before actually being seen but I was able to book this within a week of the appointment. It was a week because their availability interfered with my work hours. Otherwise, I would have been seen earlier. All in all, it is pretty convenient and a wallet-friendly option. After that first appointment and the lab results came in, Dr. Marisse wrote a VERY long email detailing every point of concern. Which I appreciated because I went for answers and I was getting them. If you need a straightforward person to tell you what you need to be doing and not someone who has to be on your ass every step of the way, this is the ideal option. I would say the ONLY con is that they do not have appointments during the weekends. And since I work during the week, I have to take time off to go to an appointment.
