This is probably the best one in terms of the actual practice. The studio is located in a slightly busy street. There is a municipal parking lot behind the studio, so make sure you bring change for the meter (which is free after 6). I used to come to the 6pm classes so it was great. I am really bad with names so I do not remember the name of the instructor. She was a young instructor who really pushed you to try new things. Also, on the other hand, she allowed people to try something less challenging in case some pose seemed too much for them. The classes were small which for me is very important. I am relatively new to yoga so I know that it is important to learn the proper way to perform certain poses and I think a big class is hard to manage in the sense of a one-to-one approach. I left this studio so energized and having sweat A LOT! Which I actually enjoyed. The room is slightly heated. Make sure you bring water. Also, I recommend bringing your own mat. They provide some in the studio but...they are a bit too thin for my taste. The studio is a bit far from me. It is a good 30 minute drive (without traffic) which is the only con for me. I would really enjoy coming here again. I actually have thought about it so I recommend it to anyone interested in getting a great workout and getting some relaxation at the same time! The class times worked out great as I was always able to go right after work. During the beginning of the pandemic I transitioned with them from studio classes to virtual and they were great! There were a few places with great reviews but most of the moms that I knew sent their kids to DanceWorks for ballet / tap / etc. I was surprised by the lack of reviews but decided to try it out and WE LOVE IT! My daughter is always energized and happy leaving class and we are looking forward to their annual show in June where all classes get to showcase what they've learned. In addition, we just had my daughter's 6th birthday party here and I received multiple follow ups from parents telling me that their kids had so much fun at the dance party. I decided to add a review to help any parents out there who may not be aware of DanceWorks and may not hear about it through word of mouth. It's a wonderful place! Danceology is an awesome, new dance school and ranks highly among the older more established school. My friends have children there and they are all praises, especially when they tell me stories about some of the other places. Danceology is in the same location of a former, reputable dance school. It was that was recently purchased by students of that school and transformed into Danceology. My friends and I all applaud them for making their kids learning something great and pushing their budding talents Now I am no expert, but my fiancee is and she digs it and has been able to tell me that my perception is dead on (YAY ME!). For kids - they can learn everything from ballet to hip-hop. I noticed that the instructor have fun and really know how to deal with all sorts of ages. I believe they are also teacher's in public schools when Danceology is closed, so that probably explains why they can teach so well. For adults they have adult classes, I think Flamenco and Zumba. My mother goes to Zumba 3 times a week - she has NEVER had this level of commitment to anything outside of the house in her life and now can't stop going! LOL. Now she even got my aunt out of the house and THAT is an accomplishment in of itself. I should send Danceology peeps a fruit basket for that achievement haha. It's easy to find, not expensive and run by young and energetic owners, both former students themselves.. I just like the fact that they are organized, offer a lot and rejuvenated a school that was slowly watching its sunset. If you have girls that like or seem to like to dance - definitely give this place a shot. This place is definitely not one of those cookie-cutter type spots. Very cool and I hope they take off (as if they already aren't).
