Hi do you service the Alameda area? I'm trying to help my mom find a mobile vet in that area for her 2 kitty cats. Thank you,

Hi Caroline, Thanks for reaching out to Frazier Mobile! Alameda is outside of our normal service area and there is a $75. travel fee that applies when Dr. Jeff is able to…

Do you guys have free grooming like clip claws and sqezzing anal?

there is a visit fee which includes an exam and nail clipping is available for an additional fee. It is very reasonable.

South Park Animal Hospital was able to give my soulmate dog, Squishy, a long and happy life…read more At SPAH, Squishy had a major surgery (limb amputation), a couple digestion issues, and a skin cancer that were all treated over the years (I'm sure I'm missing something else... we were there a lot, haha). Squishy did not like going to other vets in the past, but I never got that feeling at SPAH. The thing I appreciate most about SPAH is the staff. Sure, the facilities were new, spacious, and clean; they gave good medical advice and performed smooth surgeries. But the thing that I appreciated the most over the years was the staff really loved Squishy and I felt compassion when I visited. Thank you to all the staff that were a part of Squishy's care. I really felt like Squishy had a great team looking after her.

I would not recommend South Park Animal Hospital for a cat. If you are considering them, read the…read morenegative reviews carefully. I wish I had taken them to heart. We brought our cat in for significant dental pain and difficulty eating. South Park diagnosed her with diabetes in April 2026, but the oral pain that was interfering with her ability to eat went unaddressed. We raised her dental pain and inability to eat repeatedly, while the focus stayed on weekly blood glucose visits. They put her on vetsulin, when we asked about ProZinc and Lantus, both commonly used feline insulins, and continuous glucose monitors like the FreeStyle Libre, we were told they were not familiar with them. Their in-clinic glucose checks used an AlphaTrak, the same meter we bought ourselves for home monitoring. Staff also repeatedly referred to blood glucose as "blood pressure," which did not inspire confidence. The dental issue was the most frustrating part. South Park advertises dental services, but we were told our cat would be added to "a waiting list" rather than given a clear plan for treating pain that was actively interfering with her eating. As in, they did not have anyone available to perform those services at the time. We transferred her care elsewhere to a different clinic. Her new team switched her insulin, started pain management immediately, helped us set up continuous glucose monitoring, and performed the dental surgery we had spent so much time asking about. She improved quickly. The administrative side was uncomfortable too. Our cat would be taken to the back around audibly upset animals while we sat in an exam room approving charges on an iPad like in a restaurant. On our final visit at the register in the lobby, a staff member came out of the office, crossed his arms, and watched silently while I handed over my card not saying anything, then returned to his office after the card went through. I had never questioned or disputed a charge, never had a card not go through, never had an issue with payment, so not sure what triggered him. It was extremely uncomfortable. Also, there is a camera in the exam room, I have never seen that in a vet's office before. The final disappointment was her pet insurance. South Park diagnosed and treated our cat's diabetes, but in the end, they declined to cooperate with the paperwork even though they diagnosed her with diabetes. They seem to have some aversion to insurance paperwork, pain management, and glucose monitoring. Overall, a waste of time and money, and I regret giving them so many chances instead of leaving sooner.

Our first visit, Morgan the Dr assistant helped us with figuring out our financial situation and we are so appreciative of her. On our 2nd and 3rd visit Jamie the Dr assistant also helped us figure out the financial impact as well. Both ladies showed empathy & compassion. They truly want the best for you and your fur baby. Canelo's Dr - Dr. Gill has been super helpful through this all. We are so appreciative for his expertise. He truly cares for your fur baby. We are truly grateful, for this team right here, us and our Canelito has been blessed with you all and may God repay you in ways I cannot. We are hopeful that we can bring him home because of you all. Thank you SF Vet Hospital!!!!

Dr. Gill told me he could only address one concern per visit. ONE. For a dog presenting with multiple interconnected symptoms that had been developing for months. When I asked clarifying questions, I was interrupted and spoken over repeatedly. To make matters worse, Dr. Gill confused coughing and retching multiple times during the appointment -- first telling me my dog wasn't coughing, then prescribing medication for coughing. When I pointed out the contradiction, he became defensive instead of simply clarifying. On top of all this, my dog's bronchitis had been identified at a prior visit at this clinic with zero follow-up plan communicated. When I brought this up, it was deflected entirely. I left the appointment having had to fight for every concern to even be acknowledged, dismissed and rushed. That is not compassionate care. Rajvinder should be ashamed of his unprofessional conduct.

Review of Noe Animal Hospital…read more By Jim Sullivan, M.A., Project Director, Optic Nerve Direct Research When our longtime animal hospital closed and moved away, we needed a new, trusted place for our six-year-old tabby's checkups and vaccinations. Luckily, NOE ANIMAL HOSPITAL was readily available for us. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Devon, the Senior Practitioner. Her calm, reassuring manner immediately put both Ivan and me at ease, dispelling any anxiety about being in a new environment. We then met Dr. Paolo, whose gentle professionalism and compassionate presence brought further comfort. She took time to soothe Ivan, speaking softly and ensuring that he--and we--felt secure throughout the process. After his shots, Ivan returned home, explored outdoors for a bit, and then curled up to sleep peacefully--a sure sign of a stress-free visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Noe Animal Hospital for any family pet, whether for emergencies, annual checkups, or ongoing care. Their entire team provides professional, loving attention that mirrors the care we give our own animals at home. Thank you, Noe Animal Hospital, for taking such wonderful care of Ivan. --Jim Sullivan, M.A. Project Director, Optic Nerve Direct Research

He is healthy and only needed a physical exam after I adopted him from a shelter. Dr. Dasho came to my home with his assistant and was very gentle and careful with my cat. He asked about his diet and genuinely seemed to care about his health. The appointment didn't last as long as I expected, which was nice. Unfortunately, I did have a serious concern about the way his assistant handled my cat. She may have still been training because she seemed inexperienced with handling cats. At one point, she picked up my adult cat by the back of his neck and held him in that position while Dr. Dasho examined him. This really worried me because my cat was clearly scared, and his eyes were dilated while he was being held that way. The correct way to pick up a cat is to use two hands and fully support their chest and legs. Mother cats pick their babies up by the neck to move them around until they're old enough to walk on their own. It was not appropriate to pick up and hold my adult cat this way during a routine exam. Seeing him so frightened was upsetting, especially when the whole reason I chose an in-home vet was to make the experience less stressful for him. I really liked Dr. Dasho and felt that he genuinely cared about my cat, but the way his assistant handled him left me very uncomfortable. Because of that experience, I don't think I would use Lotus Veterinary again.
