They offer delicious pizzas and excellent salads as well as their self-made Italian bread which can be really recommended. Unfortunately, it is hard to get a table around Christmas's time. I tried to order a table for Friday or Saturday for the evening but unfortunately, none of the tables were available. This shows you how popular the Mocca dor is. The waiter made recommendations when i was trying to decide between options to accompany my asparagus, as well as my wine selection. Side note: an older woman at the next table brought flowers for her dinner party. The waiter found just the right size of vase to hold them. Very kind. I didn't have a reservation but was seated at a table which was free for an hour before the reserved party arrived. I like to peruse a menu and dally over my meal, but in this case I knew what I wanted and the kitchen was fast. The recommended wine was well chilled and did accent the asparagus nicely. The meal plating was very attractive. The asparagus was peeled perfectly and a good flavor. A couple of stalks were still on the crisp side, but I like that too. The potatoes were well cooked. The fish was a large filet with a lightly crusted exterior but unfortunately a tad dry. The hollandaise was delicate but not quite enough for the portion. I also found a small bit of eggshell in it. The waiter reacted to these tiny flaws gracefully and presented me with a complimentary dessert- Herrencreme (a boozy vanilla crème dish). Absolutely delicious. It is on the pricy side but white asparagus and salmon are expensive ingredients. The meal and dessert took less than an hour and I didn't feel rushed. A tribute to a well organized team.

It's pan-Asian food newly interpreted and slightly altered to suit European taste buds. This is no bad thing in itself and can work out quite well as with the sweet potato and chicken satay dish of my friend which was nicely flavoured, with a hint o spicyness and decently peanuty. My chicken and mango salad which I ordered extra hot was also fresh and flavour full, packing a good punch of chilli, as I had requested. The entrees on the other hand were of mixed quality: the tofu avocado summer roll only contained a minuscule piece of avocado while also containing curry (? It was yellow) flavoured rice instead of the traditional rice noodles. This didn't work for me at all. The dumplings with mixed meat on the other hand were flavourful and the sauce of fish sauce, soy sauce and sugar tasted great. Sadly I have to subtract another star for ambience and service. There is a quick turn over and the place was packed. We were seated right at the door with the window open which wouldn't close as we were informed by the staff, so we were quite chilly through out dinner. The service was also a bit unorganised and clumsy. My wine was dropped into someone else's order right before my eyes and I only received it upon asking for it again. Not sure how other places in Munster are as I was only visiting. Would go again, but would probably not be my first choice.
