The food, the views, the great weather (when there's great weather), and the excellent wurst. Lots to choose from on the menu, seems like the kind of place anyone can find something to enjoy. Likewise can't complain about the service - our server was quick to point us to a table, get us a bottle of water, and came back a few times to see if we were ready to order (quite a lot of menu to review so it took us a while). Prices are totally ok here, which makes staying a while even more likely. The music is usually a mix of mainstream and rock that seems to suit the general mix of patrons well.

The winning dish in question was the best antipasto platter I have EVER had in my entire life, and you can trust me - it's one of my favorite dishes to order in a restaurant. This was an antipasto lover's dream - hummus, fresh mozzarella, grilled veggies, and a smorgasbord of other interesting yummy things to pick at, along with delicious mini bread roll things to dip. Washed down with some delicious beer this is a perfect meal for two. ... And you can trust me on that as well because, starving as we were, we ordered both the antipasto and two fairly small main dishes, and neither of us could eat more than three bites of the "mains" (such a shame...). And as a testament to how lovely the restaurant itself is, we both actually felt guilty because we couldn't eat the mains... we actually apologized to the wait staff when we went to pay. This place feels like the cozy living room of some revolutionary group during a peaceful time, paired with a german mum who wants to stuff you full of delicious food. It's not upscale or the place to have a classy "date night" but it's THE place to hang out, chill out, eat some ridiculously good (and cheap) food and have some drinks before heading two minutes over to the bar district for the evening.
