Great clinic! I was referred by an old friend and so far, the most organized clinic I've been to. Very clean and professional environment and super friendly! I have brought both kids in during my appointments with my fiance where we had to take turns with them and no problems! The customer service is terrible. I'd booked an appointment for 11am. After waiting for 15 minutes, I mentioned that I had to be back at work. They didn't care and were very rude and didn't say how long I had to keep waiting. I finally decided to leave. When I called back to reschedule the appointment they said that I had to pay $100 for a missed appointment. There was never a missed appointment, I showed up and waited. The receptionist's inability to manage her bookings was the problem. The worst part is they entice you at the beginning pretending to be nice and welcoming and down the road they're just rude. Also I've had several appointments with the hygienist and it was never the same one. I wonder if people aren't aware that they can be treated properly in a different dental clinic. Never ever go there. I recently went in because the filling on a teeth on the left side of my mouth which was done by here about a year ago came off. They told me that my biting force is hard and has to fix those teeth so they won't be grinders by my string biting force. On top of that, they found multiple cavities on other teeth that they told me that they had to fix. I thought they would just fill those cavity but what they did was carving my teeth so small to the point where my left side upper and lower teethe aren't touching when I close my jaw, thus negatively impacting the alignment of the jaw. Now my left joint on jaw hurts very bad due to the misalignment and my mouth feels very uncomfortable when eating but I am not willing to go back there to make them fix because I don't want them to ruin my tooth and mouth even more. The staff and doctor at this clinic did a very bad job communicating their intent with me. They explain things very fast, does not give enough information about what's going on with my teeth and what exactly they will do. When I raise concerns about the treatment, they get really defensive and keep repeat how I agreed to whatever they did and will do to my tooth. I am fully aware that by proceeding with this "fix", I am so ashamed of myself for not walking away before fixing my tooth with them.o read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Stefani for many years and was very happy with his team. Since he has retired and passed his practise on to the new Owners- the Business has seen a considerable change in service. Dr. Lee and his hygienists are very nice. The problem lies at the front lines, his receptionist- May. She is extremely rude and unhelpful. I have always dealt with Debbie who used to work for Dr. Stefani and is still employed there. I called as I normally do to ask for an estimate to be sent to my Insurance to ensure all the work that is being completed is covered so I am not stuck with a hefty bill after. I got May on the line and she was unbelievably rude and refused to send in the estimate saying she was too busy and it's not her problem but mine. I advised her that I have done this in the past and it's never been an issue. It's a simple task that prevents a headache for everyone involved. She refused and hung up on me! Nice customer service eh?!! So I called back and this time she tells me I am being rude and it's not her problem. I ask her to try to work with me and ask her does she not want my business?? Finally, she decides to actually run the information and lo and behold - within 10 seconds she received a response from the Insurance company with what work is covered! Her service or lack thereof really bothered me so I decided to let the office manager know. I spoke to Debbie and advised her of the situation of how the clinics patients were not being tended to in a positive or respectful manner. She just tried to explain that they are busy and that's why which really is in no way a justification to treat paying customers that way. I was doing my due diligence and it's their job to help. Something interesting that Debbie advised me of that you all should know as well as you will in due time... They will no longer offer Direct Billing to Insurance anymore as of October 1st! Patients will have to pay upfront and send in their bill to Insurance themselves! Nice service huh! I am with Sun Life and with them, I have to print out a form, fill it in, buy a stamp and send it in. Why would they make their patients do all this extra work when it's so much easier for them to just send it in? The obvious answer is they want their money and don't care how it affects you as a customer. If they are so busy as they claim then why are they so desperate for the quick access to your money as opposed to waiting a few weeks for Insurance to pay them out? Also, I am sure a lot of people don't have that kind of money sitting around in their accounts especially during this trying and difficult times. Folks- there are a lot of Dental clinics just on Fraser Street itself. Do not allow yourself to be mistreated this way by this clinic. Another interesting point- I am fairly certain that the reviews on here are fake or made up by the people who work at this clinic. If you scroll down - you will see a Ralph Stefani review! He was a dentist here!!! Just in case, they try to remove it- I will include his review below. You are a valued customer, you should be treated as such. Go elsewhere. I know I will. I have also advised all my friends and family who used to be patients here of how I was treated & they will be seeking other clinics as well. Ralph Stefani 1 review I wouldn't go anywhere else. I've never had a bad experience here at Fraserview Dentist. Customer Service is meticulous from the Front Desk staff (shoutout to the Debbie(s), Sharon(s), May etc.) to the hygenists to Dr. Gill and Dr. Lee. Staff always remember me by asking about small details of my personal life that we converse about. The doctors and hygienists have good communication walking through what they are doing during the procedure. I've also once had to cancel my appointment last minute due to falling ill, however there was miscommunication so my cancellation never got through. The Front Desk staff never blamed or gave me grief, but replied professionally and positively - which is very hard to come by these days! Another example of great customer service was that I had a procedure done which had a complication so it was referred to a specialist. Without even asking, they offered to waive the procedural charges on Fraserview Densit's end completely. Going to the dentist can be a daunting experience, but you are in good hands with these well trained staff! read more

Coming here was such a good decision for me. I had some bad experiences as a child with one particular dentist and since then, have feared and avoided the dentist. My dads friend recommended this place as he knew Sharon, a fantastic receptionist. I needed quite extensive work done and was almost in tears at my first appointment just from the fear. Everyone here was so understanding, regardless of how melodramatic I was being, which for me was so reassuring. To me it was a big deal, and they treated my fear with validity, not as if I was irrational and over-dramatic. The first dentist I saw here was the female dentist, Dr. Cartier. What a fantastic bad ass doctor. I just loved her, she was awesome. She was willing to do whatever to help me save my teeth. Today I had another appointment for a back molar removal. Dr. Lee did it and was super fast. I again was petrified of getting dental work done, expressing my fear of freezing needles. Dr Lee was super precise and streamlined the entire procedure. He could also be a male model. What a catch! Soon I will also being seeing the one and only, D. Tony Gill for my impacted wisdom removal. I suspect that he will also be fantastic. Every part of this dental office is great. The assistant/hygienist was lovely too. She even remembered what class I was taking and asked about it again, it was really nice. Such great vibes from this place, which is hard to do for a dental office in my opinion. I would absolutely recommend this place, and in fact encourage others looking for a dentist to check this place out. You need your teeth, and they are more important to your overall health than you would imagine. Did you know periodontal disease can increase your chance of a heart attack or stroke? Bacteria in the gums can spread through the body in extreme cases. Anyway now that my review is turning into a medical lecture, I'll wrap it up here. read more

I'd like to recommend Dr. Gill and his team to anyone seeking quality dental care. I first started seeing Dr. Gill back in 2004: fast forward to 2014, and I unfortunately had to stop seeing him for the care of my teeth as I had to move out of the city. But during that 10 year interval, I trusted Dr. Gill for my teeth, and never had any issues. Dr. Gill and his staff continually coached me, providing me direction on how to improve my brushing/flossing, and I never had an appointment run late or off schedule during my 10 years there. One of my best friends who's also a dentist had Dr. Gill as an instructor at UBC. If and when I return to Vancouver, you can bet that I'll return to Dr. Gill's practice without a second thought. read more
