When I asked, the staff admitted mishandling it and offered to polish it for free. It was a nice gesture, but I'm not comfortable using their services for valuable items. Perhaps some staff training is in order, this mistake was made by a senior member of staff. Needless to say, I won't be using their services again.

They have a lot of gifts in here including ornaments and vases. It is very reasonable and lovely jewellery. Unfortunately you have to pay seperately for the boxes which I think is a bit of a rip off but apart from that it is great.
