I've been a long time visitor at Ares thrift store. It was super snowy out and I noted there were no donations left at the door. There was also a sign that said to knock (as the doorbell is out of order) to ensure that you leave your donations with a staff member. No prob! A few knocks later a nice woman came out to retrieve my donation and offer me a receipt. And off I was to my next errand. On other occasions I've perused their aisles for nearly an hour. There is truly a lot to look at. I picked up a stellar pair of like new Levi's jeans (for only $8) and am now a huge Levi's fan. During Halloween and Christmas their offerings are unmatched. They do a stellar job of putting everything out neatly and at fair prices. They also have events from time to time, one of which I won two $5 vouchers (they are so cute and have prarie dogs on them!). Excite to make another donation soon. Three cheers for spring cleaning!

I needed a new bed ASAP and went to Aley Bair on 10/9/2020. I picked out a $1,479.00 bed and a $1,719.00 mattress that was on sale for just under $800.00. I paid for delivery the next day. When I reviewed the receipt they had not given me the sale price, i.e. they over charged me by (my best recollection) about $ 900+. When I called they demurred and said that mattress was no longer available. I fell for it and spent even more-$2000.00- on a different mattress. Then when they got to within 500 feet of my house today, they stopped the truck and refused to deliver. They have a new white truck that the owner says is worth $90,000 and they can't get any scratches on it. My road is wide enough for UPS/Fed-X/Semi's/Moving Vans-but not Aley's new white trucks. So I offered to help carry it all in. They said no because their 2d delivery man was only 16 and they just couldn't stress him like that. Keep in mind I am a 62 year old woman--and I was fine with it. Then they offered to bring the bed frame in and sell me that but no mattress. Are you kidding? I thought this place was so expensive b/c they offered good service. I just lost 2 days over their shenanigans! And when I tried to speak to the owner, all she did was talk on top of me. She wouldn't listen to me at all, but her attitude helped me understand why the employees are so rude. I would NEVER go back and I wouldn't never send a friend.

It looks great in our home, and we'll be ordering a custom bench sometime soon. Also, Naked Aspen is our go-to spot for unique gifts. They have lots of artists, most Colorado 'local' with a few others thrown in for good measure. In addition to the beautiful furniture, they have lamps, metalwork, candles, textiles, jewelry, wall art, etc. If you're looking for a statement piece, they have ski lift benches and some larger wooden wall art. I bring all our guests here to shop, and almost all leave with something. There's something for everyone, with pricepoints for every budget. By far one of the best stores in the valley!
