Came here on a Saturday for my employer's charity softball tournament. Our team played against…read moremany other employers, and this park totally delivered for the occasion! With three softball fields, it's basically built for tournaments and pick-up games. Parking was a breeze--lots right by each field, and since it was after Labor Day, no parking fee (pro tip: fees kick back in on Memorial Day). We set up a BBQ and picnic next to the first field. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches, plus some coal grills. But fair warning: the grills are pretty rough, so if you're serious about grilling, definitely bring your own. The softball area itself is perfect for family gatherings, company outings, or just a fun weekend with friends. Good energy, lots of space, and an easy setup for hanging out while cheering on a game. Can't speak for the rest of the park, but this section is definitely a win.

Such a simple process booking and the appointment was so informative. The two certified techs were so knowledgeable and friendly as they have been doing this for years. Honoring both teams and so many who came from afar- All - with such beautiful wife's. Add an extra star - or two for Golf enthusiasts. Wow is this a big park with lots of acreage. Tx to the many of individuals, Staff and sponsors who serve there and Volunteers for this 2025 international monumental event. They each get 5 stars. Police, Military, Army Golden Parachute Jumpers , Troopers , Security, First Aid including a Mother's station and the great transportation people, (tx Suzanne) restaurants and kind people making things work. Maps both physical and QRs. Beautiful well kept grass and a crew keeping the place clean. Bravo to Citi Bank for their golf activities- Put Put and Vertual - phone Charger stations, a real Bar, places to sit and AC and photo shot spot. Thumbs up to the hard working volunteers at Delaware Patillon Restaurant C-9 , so many diligently work behind the scenes and runners to put lunch foods and drinks out for the many visitor's coming to this event.( see pix)

With so many parks on Long Island charging parking fees, it's refreshing to have a local park I can…read moreenjoy for free. I typically go to Seamans neck park to run along the 1.5 mile "walk/run fitness trail". Parts of the concrete path are definitely in need of repair, but overall it's a good path. There are lights along the entire path but the majority of them have not been lit when I've gone at night- only the ones right near the turf field have been on. There's two walk-in entrances and one drive in entrance, and large parking lots- one near the playground and one near the fields/dock. There's a nice view of the water that's directly across from Jones Beach. I've seen people fishing here quite often. There are baseball fields and a t-ball field, soccer fields, and a multipurpose turf field that was completed a few years ago but is still in good condition. There's a large playground that's great for a wide age range of kids. There's a rock splash pad area that probably isn't the safest, I had my fair share of scrapes there. Growing up I used to come to the free summer long programs. They offered a huge variety of sports and crafts. It was usually the highlight of my summer.

I say that because it 5pm on a gorgeous 80 degree Saturday and there were only a handful of people there! The ones that were there however were definitely taking advantage of all the awesomeness it has it offer. There is a nice little dog park, pier areas for fishing, basketball courts, fields, and even pickle and tennis. I really liked the tennis courts, especially how empty they were! They were so empty in fact that there were two friends using them as a roller rink! I think I'll come back here soon with a bunch of friends and spend the afternoon playing pickleball, fishing and bbqing!

It is in pretty good condition, and while it is geared toward a younger audience, there's something for everyone. The equipment includes some ladders, slides, and monkey bars. There are some swings, mostly geared toward younger kids. There's a water pad that's in decent condition. When school isn't in session, there are also tennis courts, squash courts, basketball court, a baseball diamond (on cement)... they are all not in the best shape, but they're certainly usable. I've seen kids and adult groups using them all. There are also some benches and tables if you want to rest, play a chess (chess boards embedded within the table tops), or eat. Down a level are some very overgrown bocce ball courts - they almost feel like relics and aren't quite usable. But there are also more places to walk or sit. And bathrooms!
