He fixed all the issues, ordered new fabulous cushions and pillow inserts, and did a stellar job! The library chairs fabric was striped so they also could have been a challenge but Andy did a perfect job. Great attention to detail, masterful skills, and such a nice guy. And I am picky, with a designer background! Upholstery (especially good fabric) is never cheap but Andy's work is well worth the investment.

Four years ago, and yes I'm still pissed off about it so she's going to get the review she deserves because she never made things right, I made the huge mistake of hiring Amber Romine to re-create some pads for a vintage Knoll Barcelona chair. IF you can find one they run about $1,200 I'm not stupid, I know it was gonna take some skill and I was happy to pay for it but I had purchased very expensive new old stock fabric which could not be replaced or re-sourced so I wanted to make sure I chose the right upholstery team. I spoke with Amber at length both via text and on the telephone, she said she's open 24 hours a day but it took several days for her to get her act together just to meet with me so I can give her the material, the sample pad to be used as a pattern, and instructions on how I wanted it completed. She told me it would take her approximately three weeks which was completely reasonable, at four weeks I had not heard anything from her so I began reaching out. I reached out over the course of the next 2 1/2 weeks before she finally responded at which point she advised that she had chopped my vintage fabric into dozens of different pieces to be sewn back together instead of following the pattern sample I provided. Now she admitted that she was in way over her head and there was no way she could complete this project but she would be sure to return my vintage fabric which was now in literally dozens of pieces When it became apparent that I was very unhappy with this option and the fact that she had absolutely destroyed the fabric before throwing the towel in, she refused to communicate further or even meet with me and return my property. Nearly 3 months after we our last communication, she suddenly shipped back a box with the pads, original cover which had been totally destroyed and all of my vintage fabric chopped into little 4 x 4" squares. No compensation for the destroyed fabric, no apology for wasting three months of my time and destroying the fabric, nothing. And now she's hiding from the process server. This person is pure evil and does horrible work, actually I can't even say that, she just doesn't do any work. She's an absolute crook. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I've emailed/called many times, immediately after and for over a year after, but, Knights was not responsive, they said they would send someone, commented on staffing and never fixed the problem. During my visit to pick out tile, the salesgirl, Mallory, brought out very pricy looking tile. I asked her if it fit into the budget we had outlined and she told me that she "didn't know". The following meeting with Mallory and my contractor I was informed that the tile we picked out was $4,000 over budget. I told the team that I did not approve of this and didn't appreciate the lack of transparency for the budget. Who tries to financially rip off special needs children? This company has such low integrity. But that wasn't the end of our horrendous experience with Knight's. The floor installers spent most of the day on their phone staring at my employees who were preparing the clinic for the children to come receive therapy. The day they left the base boards were already coming away from the wall and the door stops they installed were falling out of the baseboards. We have several cracks in the brand new laminate flooring, which it has taken over a month for them to come repair. In addition to that, the flooring does not reach near enough to the end of the wall to maintain structural integrity, so the baseboards have collapsed into the gap within days on installation. Today they told my contractor they were repairing both the floors and baseboards. They fixed a couple (but not all) cracks in the floor and none of the baseboards. They've told us numerous times that they would come repair it, so we cleared the clinic of children who intensively need therapy, but they did not arrive. The children we work with have enough struggles in their life, and the subpar service from Knight's is further exacerbating an already difficult situation.

It's essentially an accordion-style convertible top that is very cool....until it breaks. After only months of owning my used Jeep, the Sky Slider roof broke and wouldn't close all the way. I took it to Jeep and they said it would be around $4,000 to fix and that it would probably just break again. They suggested I go to a body shop, cut off the entire top and replace it with a whole new metal hard top for again, thousands of dollars. I looked online and learned that this rare feature is known to break over and over, leak, etc. Jeep refuses to provide a recall (don't get me started). So, I contacted several mechanics and none were willing to help at least just get it locked closed. It is a feature none of them had seen and they did not want to mess with it. Finally, I contacted Glenn at The Top Shop. He admitted that he had never seen the Sky Slider feature before but he was willing to give getting it closed a try. He came up with a creative solution to get it closed and I am very grateful. Glenn even suggested ways to further seal it if it gives me any trouble with leaking down the road. He charged me a minimal amount and was honest and straight forward. I would highly recommend The Top Shop!
