Franklin's Septic to our rescue....again!!! We purchased a home on Lake Oconee 5 years ago and immediately had issues with our septic system backing up. I'd have to call various septic companies to get emergency pump outs and their repairs never worked longer than a few months. About 4 years ago I finally got lucky and found Franklin's Septic. Since calling Franklins I've never had another septic system back up into the house. Once we had a lightning strike hit the house and this did burn out our septic pump. However, one call to Franklin's and they came right out to swap the pump and had us back up and running right away. This morning I texted Franklin's and knew they would be very busy after the holiday weekend (today is July 5). At 9:00 tonight I received a call and the guys told me they are still out working and they were now on their way to my house. Wow...they arrived at 9:15 tonight and made the repair. In my opinion Franklin's Septic has my business for life. They are knowledgeable, personable, and fair. They have all the tools/technology needed to install new septic systems and repair existing systems. I refer them to other people around the lake. I cannot not say enough good things about my experience with Franklin Septic. Herbert, the person who came out, was SO nice, SO knowledgeable, explained everything and why he did different things, checked in before taking any action that might affect the property (like going over options that wouldn't hurt our rose bushes, and moving some rocks that might endanger the tank structure), answered all my questions clearly and kindly (as someone new to septic I had several), and did it all with a smile and a genuine kindness that was greatly appreciated. Franklin's Septic was recommended to us to pump our septic tank as we were starting to get some sewer back-up in the bathroom downstairs. I called Mr. Franklin and he was very pleasant on the phone. I didn't have to wait a long time to schedule an appt with him. He showed up on time for our appointment and he was even more pleasure in person. They just came out yesterday (10/30/19) for a pump out. I couldn't have chosen a better company. They are professional and the most honest people I have ever met. He pointed out that we might be missing a coupler, and would run us over a $1,000.00 to replace involving a bigger dig hole, put on further inspection, he saw the coupler and informed us that we just needed a pump out. He was so honest and upfront with us and didn't try to make us pay for something we didn't need. They always say, "Honesty is the Best Policy". They have our stamp of approval on that. These guys were very professional and made us feel like we were in excellent hands right from the beginning. We were not aware of any problems with our tank, however we called because we recently purchased our house and just wanted to make sure everything was ok. Upon opening our tank, it was obvious this thing hasn't been pumped for a very long time! Herbert is not a septic expert and the this was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with anybody, in any field. In fact he refused to even try and locate the septic system because it was raining and I didn't know where the tank was (I am a buyer, that has never visited the property, and was relying on his expertise to inspect the septic system so I was aware of any issues). After 30 seconds at the site ... He walked out on the job because "he didn't want to figure it out in the rain". He didn't perform the services and didn't have a clue how. read more

Do Not Call!! We were given an appt time, stayed home from work for septic to be serviced and this company never showed, nor called. We called numerous times to find out why and all calls went to a recording staying that "mail box is full and not taking messages!" Definitely not a way to run any type of business! read more
