I drove to Park Ridge and Des Plains first and couldn't find anything suitable so I ended up in Schiller Park. There were a lot of kids which is understandable but there was this one kid wrecking havoc. His mom couldn't control him either and other customers were annoying, clearly. That'll definitely take away from a persons experience. I was disappointed because all of the machines were small. Therefore, I had to use multiple machines to get the job done. There were really only 2 sizes small and Xtra small. They were a little pricey too. Also, there was a smell of moldy clothes when I opened the washer door. I sat in my car while blankets were washing. The machines had been off for maybe 10 mins. My items were moved out of my washers as a new lady had her things in all of the machines I used. There must've been a concerned look on my face as the clerk shouted out "looking for your pillows?" He pointed to the dryers they were in. In a sigh of relief, I asked him how much did I owe him, he replied "nothing." He explained he just wanted to make sure all machines were available. He saved my review of 1 or 2 star. He was kind and had great customer service skills. However, I need a place that's conducive for large loads of blankets, comforters, and pillows. This place is not it. This place is cool of you have a couple of loads of clothes and that's it.

The dryer I used sounded like it had seen better days (definitely an older machine), and just FYI, there's no restroom, so plan ahead. Overall, it's a no-frills laundromat. Not the type you hang out in, but if you just need to wash and dry your clothes and get on with your day, it works -- and the location is super convenient for me.

She stopped by my hotel within a couple of hours to pick up my laundry and returned the clothes back to me folded very nicely, in an immaculate manner less than 24 hours later. She is very friendly and wonderful to work with. I am impressed by the quality of service that she provides, and will definitely hire her again next time I am in the area.

The dryers aren't heating properly, and some of the washing machines don't get water until the cycle is damn near over. You end up having to add extra detergent and water from the sink just to get proper suds. When I brought these issues to the attendant's attention, instead of simply acknowledging the problem, I was met with an attitude and told that they "aren't mechanics" and that the water valve is slow. I never said you were a mechanic. I was informing you of an issue so that management could be made aware and, at the very least, a sign could be posted to let customers know there's a problem with certain machines. There's absolutely no reason to be rude to someone who is simply trying to make you aware of an issue. Customer service still matters. And then there are two giant signs that say NO PARKING, yet people are still allowed to park there. This makes it extremely difficult to bring your laundry through the front door, especially when you're carrying multiple bags or trying to load and unload your clothes. It also makes it difficult to access the designated parking area. This place really needs some attention. I hate to see a laundromat that used to be one of the best in the Heights go downhill because of poorly maintained equipment, confusing parking, and poor customer service. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and gets things fixed.
