I stopped by this post office to mail off my passport renewal documents, and the visit went very smoothly. The location was easy to access since it's a standalone building with its own parking lot. When I arrived, it wasn't busy, so it was simple to find where I needed to go. There were about three employees assisting customers, and the line moved quickly. The clerk who helped me was very friendly and even offered to review my documents to make sure everything was accurate before sending them off. Since I was mailing original, important documents, he also explained the different tracking options available, which I really appreciated, it gave me extra peace of mind. Lori is actually the best person ever. I had been struggling to get my passport from the USPS facility in Indy and when it finally moved they sent it to Franklin when i live 25 minutes from there. Post office (admittedly) delivered my package to the wrong address. They sent someone to the home and they said they put the package "on the porch." We have curbside delivery. So, he (the manager or lack there of) says well, I guess someone stole it. You should have had it insured. INSURED??? Insured against YOUR employees?? Did I help fill someone's Christmas list? After several emails to the USPS, my package suddenly appeared about 3 days later. This post office is such a joke. One day, they are going to figure out that Captain Obnoxious is ruining that location. read more

I believe her name was Bobbi... she was my hero. In addition to sharing her scissors and tape, she listened to me whine about my historically registered house and all of the permitting paperwork replacing one's driveway requires (more like a nightmare). I proceeded to use their counter to tear apart my 64 historical permit letters, laugh/cry, revise the dates, retake, laugh/cry and roll out. I'm confident the madwoman look on my face scared everyone who entered the building during my hour long visit. Bottom line: friendly, patient and helpful. Five stars for saving the day. read more

What a joke, our carrier constantly puts our mail in the wrong box or mail just doesn't show up. I have multiple days of missing mail that I receive email scans of including my wife's new social security card that they've lost. I called and of course they were going to "check" with their carrier but no extra effort or care was given. As expected they never called back as promised. Absolutely wish there was another way to send a letter. I reported two greeting cards that had not arrived at their destinations in over two weeks. The lady told me there is nothing they could do. I sent the letter I had with me ceritified. Had to pay $4.00 for something that should have cost me 50 cents. They do a poor job and I have to pay more. How is that right? read more

I have sent 2 letters with personal checks inside for my niece for a Christmas gift. The first was sent from Bloomington IN on 12/6. I sent a second check and letter on 1/14 because the first did not arrive. She hasn't received either letter. I haven't received them back in the mail and she hasn't received them in the mail, so where are they? She really could use the surprise I put in the letters - it's difficult for me to drive up there, but I guess that is what I'm going to have to do. this is the worst post office ever! i ordered something in november, 2020 from that area. the artist mailed my package on dec 1, 2020 today is dec 22,2020 and the package is still sitting in the post office. it was scanned and never moved for 22 days!!! so i won't be getting my niece's gift for christmas and perhaps never. good luck folks,,,i advise not using this post office ever, nor ordering if the items are made or shipped from this city....you may never get it!!! they absolutely don't know what the hell they are doing...i am contacting the postmaster general in wash dc and complain, i suggest the local folks do the same... read more

WORST postal carriers ever! Constantly miss scheduled pickups, deliver my mail to other people, receive my neighbor's mail on a consistent basis, and even when they have to deliver a package, they just leave my outgoing mail there, moving it over to make room for the delivery. Many times if I have unscheduled pickups in my mailbox (flagged raised), they just shove it to the back of the box and put my new mail in on top of it with out taking the outgoing mail. They have run their truck into my mail box post and mail box on countless occasions, twice with me standing their watching and don't even acknowledge it or apologize for it and we now need to replace both at our cost and our mailbox is less than a year old. I call BS! One of the mail carriers likes to leave the flags up and the mailboxes open EVEN WITH MAIL IN THEM. You can drive throughout our neighborhood behind him and see nearly every mailbox wide open and flags raised. We used to have an awesome gal that delivered our mail but now it is pot luck who we will get and these mail carriers are not good! There needs to be accountability for the work these mail carriers are supposed to be doing. Maybe we need a new Postmaster that actually manages these people. read more

The so-called postmaster or branch manager is very unprofessional and borderline racist attempted to pick up my package which he initially said he didn't have after showing him my tracking and email saying that it is at his location he looked briefly and said it wasn't there after waiting 20 more minutes he found package which was literally right in front of him after finding it he refused to give me package with out the slip even after showing my I.D card and refused to re attempt to deliver will be contacting corporate office. read more

I have used this post office only 3 times and have problems each time. The first time I had sent my granddaughter a birthday card with a gift card inside. She received the torn open envelope, the card and the gift card were missing. Thanks for the effort. The second time I used this post office my package never arrived and is still missing to this day. The last time was a week ago. I sent my 3 grand children Valentine's cards with $20 in each. I put the 3 cards in a bubble shipping envelope due to the first time being ripped open. Well the cards never arrived. So my conclusion is they are all incompetent or a bunch of thieves. It's pretty bad when you have to pay someone to get ripped off. And they wonder why the post office is not making money. read more
