They were thorough and took x-rays ahead of time, clearly explained the images to us, and educated us about how his roots were not very long, but that if we waited, they could potentially grow longer, and the teeth would be harder to extract. On the day of the procedure, they gave my son anesthesia before numbing his gums with Novacaine which made the procedure nearly painless. They completed the procedure in about a half hour at the most. They kept my son sitting upright in a chair in the recovery room for another half hour before the anesthesia finally wore off and he was able to walk out of there. They made sure that they supplied us with gauze pads, a syringe, clear discharge instructions, etc. Pro tip: check your insurance plan to see how much you have left of your deductible before scheduling your appointment. My son had a few fillings earlier in the year which used up a good portion of his deductible. If you schedule your dental procedures in different calendar years, you will pay less.

I told him I didn't want any hard drugs because I was concerned about addiction and he said "well don't pick them up". This is why people form addictions. I needed a medication for another medical problem I have which this surgery would effect. I told them a total of 3 times, at first appointment, before they attempted to sedate me and before I left. I advocated for myself and was ignored. Surgery day came and he came into the office, put an Iv in my arm with NO GLOVES.He was moving so fast between patients I didn't even see if he washed his hands. They attempted to sedate me and gave up. After making me wait 1 hr past my appointment time they said we had to reschedule because it was past my appointment slot since I didn't get to sleep. The amazing, caring, kind, compassionate Anesthesiologist has nothing to do with this. He's the only one that talked to me when I was clearly scared, stayed with me, and explained things to me. After they failed to sedate me, the dr. said he can do it with local anesthesia. He gave me shots on both sides of my mouth. He immedietly went to pull my tooth and I felt sharp intense pain. I told him to stop and was crying. He got mad at me because he said "look at how much I already gave you I can't just keep giving you novocaine. " He went to another patient and pulled the teeth there and returned. He gave me more on my right side and it ended up working fine. He immedietly went to pull my left side and I flinched in pain and was bawling my eyes out at this point. THE LEFT SIDE WASNT NUMB. he used half as much on my left side and didn't even attempt to stop when I was in excruciating pain. Finally both teeth were pulled it was done. He left the room and said I didn't need to be in the recovery room. The anastasiologist stayed by my side. and I asked if I could go home since dr. didn't say anything. we went to front desk to get checked out and found out that nobody gave me after care instructions, new gauze for my mouth, gauze to take home, etc. Overall he is dismissive, terrible bedside manner, rude, and going to be responsible for people's addictions. I'm traumatized by this experience and never experienced something so terribly medically. I hope you do not use these people for surgery.

The Doc listens to your concerns and develops a plan. After really a thorough battery of test another consultation, the plan is explained in detail. I am now down 89 pounds. I am no longer on blood pressure medicine and my a1c numbers have dropped significantly. I feel stronger and have a lot more energy. I go to IM as a supplement to my family physician as cookie cutter medicine did not have the answers I needed. My primary care physician was impressed with the testing that Dr. Petteruti performed and really impressed with the results. So much so that I only need to see her once a year. One issue I had that IM's testing showed was a high level of heavy metals. As my career was spent in manufacturing, that is not surprising. The chelation IV drips are addressing that issue. Again, my primary care doc is all on board with Dr. Petteruti's treatments. Big box medicine addresses symptoms in a wack -a- mole methodology. Dr. Petteruti addresses the root cause to help you be heathy.

I was, surprisingly, able to afford way more grafts than anticipated. I had previously visited another known hair transplant surgeon and I found DiStefano to be more affordable, but exponentially more explanatory, friendlier, and very professional. I arrived for my procedure and Dr. Chris felt like I'd known him for years. He explained every step of the procedure, even while doing it. I don't consider myself to have an abnormal tolerance for pain, but, in case you're apprehensive, I really had ZERO pain. The first night, you sleep in a recliner, so I did take 1 pill for pain, really just to put me to sleep. I never took another one. My wife (ER nurse) removed my staples 2 weeks later, also pain free. The instructions and expectations given to me were perfectly accurate and are easy to understand and follow. Dr Chris called the next day to see how I felt, and I can say, 15 months later that my only regret was not doing it earlier. I realize that this is an unrealistically positive review, but it is totally honest. My before and after pictures are dramatic and nothing short of incredible work. If you have questions (no, I don't work there..lol) leave a note and I will give my honest opinion

Keun **Will Not Take Down This Post Until Issue Is Resolved**…read moreDiStefano Hair Restoration did not honor their promise that was made the day of surgery when they didn't get the graph count that was expected. When they came up short on the graphs, they assured me they would make up the difference in a future hair restoration procedure dates. I went back recently to get another procedure for the remaining hair counts, I found out the original doctor Dr. DiStefano retired and sold the business to Dr. Christian Heinis. And to my SURPRISE, new management expressed to me that they WILL NOT honor the promise of completing my surgery and requested me to pay additional funds. Anyone reading this should understand that this hair restoration group does not stand by their promises, and are not to be trusted cosmetically or professionally. I am a professional businessman who works hard for my money. I trusted this group. The consultant that I worked with initially is no longer employed there, although he has tried to help me with the situation. In hindsight, if I had known this was going to happen I would've never gone there and I will recommend to every other hair transplant patient to run the other way from DiStefano Hair Restoration and Dr. Heinis. I will not take this post down until I have my procedure done or receive a refund.

I was given a prescription for pain and told to come back in 6 weeks. I was not given any information about what was happening to me, nor what to expect during the healing. I contrasted this with my husband's experience with Care NE Orthopedics and I can tell you I will never go back here. First, the patient portal is useless. I have tried twice to send messages and I get a 10 day old out of office messages from a PA I never heard of. I needed a refill on a prescription so I called and spoke to a member of my doctor 's staff who said she would sent the request to the doctor. it's been 3 days and no one has contacted me nor sent the prescription to the doctor. In contrast, Care NE has been super responsive and their portal is extremely easy to use. I would caution anyone to refuse a referral to this place and request a different referral.

Surgery scheduled easily and I was in by 6am and home soon after noon. I did feel like I got rushed out of there but that's the hospital not the office Had an allergic reaction within 24 hours. Called and sent a picture, absolutely no help at all since I wasn't willing to drive over an hour there when I was still slightly groggy from anesthesia Isn't that why we can send a picture? To avoid an unnecessary trip, not to mention dangerous- asking a patient to drive 36 hours after surgery. I'll deal with the side effect so I don't risk my life or anyone else's. I was very disappointed in that and then my post op was fine but the attitude was chilly because I chose not to continue with a revision- at that time. It wasn't off the table but I wanted to give it a try and I'm glad I did because after a rough start, I'm doing great. So yes, I totally recommend Dr Giovanni, she's friendly personable and did a great job but was disappointed with the after surgery care and the chilly reception at my post op. I won't say avoid her, but if you're prone to allergic reactions or issues after surgery have a back up plan with your primary. Thankfully my primary ordered me something that would help and make me more comfortable. She cares about her patients comfort

She is a busy surgeon with a broad repertoire of skills and her staff got me an appointment in short order for my problem. Unfortunately, she had a surgical emergency that required her to cancel office hours, but the fact that she deals with such serious cases in addition to her other workload means she is a very competent, broadly trained physician. When she did finally see me, she was able to address my problem and fix it rather quickly, offering a timely solution. Note that anyone can perform surgery, now they have robots that can do it, but what distinguishes a good surgeon from a mediocre one is that the competent surgeon knows when *not* to operate or perform a seriously invasive procedure. Thankfully, Dr. Giovanni knew exactly what to do and I was sent on my way with a much less invasive procedure than I had anticipated. Her bedside manner was excellent, and she not only answered all my questions, but treated me like a human being and gave importance to all my concerns. Overall I would happily refer family and friends to this surgeon!
