Though I don't live close, the East Greenwich location seemed to have the best reviews. I requested an appointment online and got a call from their call center. After some mistakes, I got an appointment with Elizabeth Chapdelanie at East Greenwich. Arrived early and checked in on the kiosk. Then went to the window to fill out paperwork. I waited an extra 20 minutes to be called in after my arrival time. It was a bit unnerving as 8 or more patients were called in before me and the waiting room wasn't busy. The nurse was nice and had uploaded all my information from the forms I had filled out before I arrived online. I think that was the reason for the wait. Chapdelanie was very nice. I didn't feel rushed and she listened to me. I asked about seeing a dermatologist and come to find out they have someone who you can see in their office. Right after the appointment I check out. This individual was not as warm or inviting, but I could tells she was trying and she was indeed giving me all the information I needed as a new patient. I stayed to get my labs done. You grab a number and then press this doorbell. They come out and call you in. The tech. was quick! All and all I was very please.

He is thorough, and engages patients to take responsibility for their own health, with his support. He doesn't pass out antibiotics like candy. In all this time, there has only been one time I was unable to get a same day appointment for an acute illness, which is amazing. He also has a highly qualified Physician Assistant who supports him and she is wonderful. Dr. Cronin is kind and compassionate, and keeps up to date with latest best practices (unlike Drs. who learn in med school, and feel that that is the only right way, forever.) One of the things I love best about his practice is that he's not afraid to admit he doesn't know something, and if he doesn't know, will either figure it out or send you to a specialist if needed. You won't regret choosing him.

Dr. Kelley is the most kind and giving man I've ever met…read more 30 years ago, he and his wife sponsored my family from Vietnam. They didn't know who we were, but wanted to help. They saved our lives. Despite having 3 kids of their own, they adopted an orphan from Vietnam. And since sponsoring us, they have sponsored 4 other families from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I don't know if you all know what a burden it is to sponsor a family. You are physically and finanacially responsible for these people until they can get on their feet. It's easier said than done. Just imaginge a whole family of strangers (who don't speak your language) living with you. They have opened up their hearts and their home for people in need. And for the past 23 years, Dr. Kelley has been traveling to Haiti ( a place in political turmoil) twice a year to work in the local hospital and help with the local orphans. He and his wife will be traveling there next year to also help reform the educational system. What a truly wonderful man! If you live in this area, is there any doubt as to which doctor you should see?

Kelley needs to be recognized as a great Dr. as well as a humanitarian. It does not surprise me to see what Tu D. wrote about Dr. Kelley, I knew that he went to Haiti twice a year and that he had adopted a child from Vietnam but the sponsorship of families was something I didn't know about, but that really doesn't surprise me.... I've had Dr. Kelly as my PCP for a few years now and have always found him to be an incredibly caring individual who also is a really good, practical, doctor. don't expect a lot of bells and whistles when you go to his office, in fact he will probably complain to you about how the "damn computers" are making his life as a doctor a living hell... Do expect to find someone who will listen to you, treat you as an expert in your own care, and work with you to fix whatever is broken. He doesn't automatically reach for the prescription pad, but may just tell you why your mom was right about chicken soup is good for you when you have a cold and the science behind it.... I would strongly recommend that anyone go to see Dr. Kelley, being a good guy goes a long way in being a good doctor... and he's a great guy.

I've tried finding other primary's out of convenience of location and drive time and the quality is just not the same. It is worth the wait and drive to be seen. The staff are very nice, although I will say I didn't appreciate a comment about state medical recipients last time I was there considering the girl at the desk didn't know all the patients could hear her. Believe it or not, not everyone on state medical is a scumbag. Some have disabilities, pay for out of pocket care, and some even work! Highly inappropriate, but in no way a reflection of the other staff that room you or practitioners.
