The things I liked best about working with him: * He came to our house on a Sunday afternoon for the initial consultation - that saved us a lot of time since we have kids and work full-time * He is extremely responsive on email * He isn't too old school - he was able to share files using dropbox, scan paper docs, and generally work with us electronically. Not too many phone calls, paper docs, etc that the old school guys still rely on. * His final bill was very reasonable I don't write a lot of yelp reviews, but this was a super positive experience so I thought I'd share.

Those places like H&R block open in January and the doors are papered up 6 months later. Marc is there all year long if you need him for anything - which I haven't because there hasn't been any errors or issues. Doing business with him is pretty easy, since he'll use email to ask quick questions or send you copies of documents. I don't live in RI anymore so I'm bummed about having to find a new accountant.

We were sent between several different personnel who work for the office who could not seem to communicate timely and effectively with each other. The accountants were not able to complete services they agreed to complete, and we ended up owing around 20k for a service they agreed to perform but then did not perform. Thankfully we had the money to do so when we suddenly found out what was owed. I wrote an email expressing my concerns to the owner who was quick to just let us go as a client (with about 5 minutes of reviewing the case before responding to us and letting us go) it shows their lack of interest in retaining clients or actually addressing issues within their own company. Poor customer service. I would highly recommend seeking services elsewhere.
