Family-oriented, 1950's American-Italiano style restaurant with a diner feel. It's large and always full of families and children. Great for your pizzas, pastas, calzones. It has beer so that's a win and lots of old style photographs. Roomy with huuuge menu selection, my eyes ran wild with delight. There were so many options, I almost got a little nervous deciding between them. (Too much selection makes my head spin). Modelled after the eateries of New York, there are burgers and hot wraps, and salads, and hot dogs, and just a ton of appetizers. And sometimes, this American girl needs the option of a hot dog. Sometimes you just gotta have a hot dog. It's on my 'to-eat' list for next time.
I finally settled on the New Yorker Calzone, which was fantastic and HUGE. Very American portion sizes. And while most calzones I get are quite crusty and sometimes overbaked on top, this was was almost omelette-thin. The inside was meaty (Pepperoni, ham, bacon) and the Neopolitan sauce was great.
