There were many flaws in the build that they were able to fix for us and they did a great job with the tile work! Everything turned out great. We also had him fix a few things around our egress window that I would have never thought to do prior to Nick bringing it up. The price was very reasonable for the amount of work the guys did and also came to finish the job on Christmas Eve! Nick seems to be a perfectionist and found multiple other things that could be done in our basement which helped in knowing the job would be done correctly. They were both very professional and I would highly recommend them in the future.

First of all, I was hesitant to use him, because of the amount of times he stressed, what a "professional" he is and how he's honest and does really good work. In fact, he stressed this too much, which made me wonder. Once I got a quote, he showed up unannounced, to show me a sample, which wasn't a sample, but the actual plywood he was going to use. I couldn't talk to him, because I was on a conf call so he left the samples. These so called samples were beige in color and my trim is all white. I asked him why he didn't pick out white, he said, "in order to match what, I already have, he needed this wood, because it's all Home Depot carries. I found this hard to believe! this isn't my first rodeo, because I've had so much work done on a couple houses. I told him, I wanted white and he we defensive, staying he's the "professional" and no offense, but he does this for a living! I asked him point blank, is this extra trim you had laying around? he said, "no, I just bought it at Home Depot.". Needless, to say, I went straight to Menards and Home Depot and both stores had white vinyl wood. In fact, Home Depot stated, they only carry white and any other color is special order. Nick, wanted to pawn off some extra materials he had laying around and wanted to paint my plastic trim, which would have chipped and defeated the purpose of using vinyl trim. He's unethical and I would not trust him! This contractors need to be help accountable for their poor business practices! I hope I help someone who tries to hire him!

I had 2 different types of flooring installed in my home which actually met each other, going into…read morethe front room (pictured) and heading down the hallway towards the kitchen. After several "Hardwood floor pro's" from different companies came out to bid our job they all pretty much had the same response: You have 2 kinds of wood, Oak and Birch.... No matter what we do you WILL see a difference, even if they are all sanded and stained together. My thought was that if they were sanded and stained together they would look identical or at least similar. This was actually a much more difficult task than I anticipated. After speaking with Rob from PHS, he assured me that he would use a special kind of non penatrating stain that would do the trick and make them look almost identical. His confidence and knowledge was reassuring, especially after speaking with other "know it all" contractors. I received 6 estimates, ranging from 2300-6500 for roughly 700sq ft. Robs estimate was the 2nd or third cheapest option so needless to say they hit a home run with us!! Thanks to Rob and PHS for sanding and staining the 2 different types of flooring in my home and making them all match and look awesome!
