My GC originally hired Tile Studio for a rebuild of our kitchen after a flood. I chose a large…read moretravertine and was initially happy with the floor. A year later, I started seeing cracking in the tiles and grout. I called, no response. I continued to call for over a year, and finally, they responded. They came out and looked and said they would repair tile and grout under warranty. They fixed the tile, but not the grout. The grout they did put in around the new tiles was a much lighter color, but they assured me that it was only because it was new, and it would age to the proper color. I later found out they had based the replacement grout on the receptionist remembering that I had wanted a floor from the studio display. While I had chosen the tile from the display, I had not chosen the same grout, as it was far too light for a kitchen floor. A couple of years later, grout still cracked, more tiles cracked. I had them come out again, and they said they would replace them and fix the grout. There was no mention of a charge, nor was an estimate given, oral or written. They came out and Frank repaired the tiles. He was careful and talented, and the only reason I would give any stars. He had me help choose the grout, and the new grout around the new tiles is almost perfect. Then came the bill. I was told that since the cracking was due to joist movement, it wasn't their problem, so they had to charge me. $2600. For about 12 tiles. I understand if there is a problem and a company needs to charge for repairs. But, the proper procedure is to give an estimate. If I had been given an estimate, I would have fully understood that I was not under any warranty. I would have then been free to hire someone else for the repairs. TL/DR: Shoddy work + over a year of waiting for a reply + wrong color grout + bill when none discussed + no communication = unhappy customer And, the grout is still the wrong color.

Deluxe Blacktop Paving did our driveway and 4 other neighbors over a 2-day period in early June…read more2020. They were quick to respond when I first called them. We are extremely happy with their work. Our driveway was well past prime as evidence by the pooling of water, cracking and overall ashy look. Deluxe milled our driveway and then paved. The results have been great: no more pooling and the driveway looks nice! See some before and after pictures for reference. Definitely give Deluxe Blacktop a call for asphalt work!

I should have checked the reviews on this company before we hired them. They are a scam fly by night company. They have many negative reviews on the BBB.org, Facebook, Google.com, etc. To make a long story short we paid $16,000 to have this company blacktop our driveway. The contact we have with them states we have a 2 year warranty, within 5 months we noticed several serious compromises in the blacktop. They did not put down the 2 inches thick of blacktop as stated in the contract. The blacktop started cracking and grass started growing through several areas. When we called the company several times in 2023 and 2024 about these issues and spoke with Dave, he said he will fixed it. It has been 2 years later and still nothing!!! We keep calling and Dave keeps telling us to call him back in a month because he isn't in Florida. This a scam company that does sub quality work, and does not honor their own warranty. Do not hire this company, check out their reviews. They take the customers' money do terrible quality work and run.

He had installed a dryer vent while installing the dryer the elbow fell out in my hand. I had to look up the vent code and had the wall opend he had installed the vent with screws against code. I sent him the code via email and it was ignored affter further inspection i found he had used exessive fittings to vent the dryer. When pesented with this he asked me to tell him how to install the vent. He also tried to fix a granite mis measurement with grout and a sharpie marker . He has since disappered and left the dumpster over flowing in my yard. I called the company and of course his account is frozen due to non payment so i am stuck with it. He works under Landmark Remodleing, mid atlantic remodeling and domus kitichens if you see any of these companies do not use they are dangeous and total hacks!!!

Just as importantly, LBK employees are kind and conscientious. They sent us gift baskets both when they heard about a death in our family and when they found out we were pregnant with our first child. And last week, when we had a leak that damaged the kitchen ceiling, they came out immediately (within 1 hour of us calling) to investigate. Even though it turned out that the leak was coming from our bathroom and was unconnected to the work they had done last summer, LBK still covered the repair of the kitchen ceiling, drywall, and painting under the warranty. Jose, our project manager, was instrumental in getting this done. Less than a week later, it was good as new. We absolutely loved working with their team and could not recommend them more highly. Even from the start of "sales" process, no one ever pressured us, and the team was completely understanding of and worked within our budget. The design process was really easy and enjoyable - LBK really got to know us and suggested designs and items for the spaces that really fit with our personalities and themes. Once that was done, the team was clear about when the project would get started and overall timelines. The Project Manager and on-site team were absolutely wonderful - they were always respectful of the space and our family when we were in and out and by cleaning up at the end of the day. The head carpenter for each of the jobs (kitchen and master bath) also took our space and family's tastes in mind for individual recommendations when looking at final fittings/hardwares, etc. Even all the individual contractors they had come in for the work (electricians, plumbers, etc.) were all very considerate. I could not recommend this LBK Design team more highly - you will be in such trustworthy and skilled hands throughout the whole process.
