The Prestige team (led by Tom Pilkington) was courteous, professional, patient - overall Tom is a gentleman to deal with. There were no surprises, and any issues that needed to be dealt with were quickly taken care of. Since then they have reliably and responsively helped me with any troubleshooting or servicing issues that have come up - they even made a "housecall" to my home marina in Westport this past week to help with an electrical issue, that they quickly resolved for me (shout out to Peter who is a great guy and a master mechanic!). Yesterday, the owner of the marina cut me off waiting in line to fuel up. I immediately left and will purchase $1200 fuel elsewhere. For 20 years I have heard nothing but horror stories about this place, the false promises, the shoddy workmanship, the owners nickname being Robber. etc. If this is how you treat your customers at the fuel dock, can you imagine what goes on in the background. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere, I certainly will.

Had the craziest interaction at Dodson's boatyard this morning . Pulled in to the dock to gas up…read moreand we were told we would have to move to the other side. No problem....we moved the boat to the other side of the dock. A young man came out and said he couldn't sell us gas but wouldn't say why. He finally said there is a 20 gallon minimum so we said ok but he still refused to sell it to us . When we asked to speak to the manager ,he laughed and call someone else to come out side. She told us we had to wait in the harbor until someone else decided to leave and insisted the young man had said the same thing. No one at the dock was getting gas so I guess we would have had to wait until someone decided to leave.Fortunately we were able to go to Noank Boatyard and receive kind,excellent service at a cheaper price. Dodson's was rude and we will never get gas there again!

Do not stay on a mooring in their marina. They are 100 a night, and do not tell you until you…read morearrive that it's a 2 night minimum. Most places on the cr/ri coast charge 40-50 per night without a minimum. Since covid they have become very unfriendly to transients.
