Definitely needs some TLC, particularly new mulch as the under mat is showing all over. Drinking fountain (human part) didn't work. At the small park it's full of foxtails and the drinking fountain didn't work at all (human or dog). The main sign is deceptive saying the low gap dog park requires leashes which just isn't accurate inside the fencing. Otherwise great park for your pup- just recommend to bring your own water for u and your fur child.

This was my first time here and I was a little unprepared since the dog park was not our original plan, I had no ball or frisbee or anything to entertain my dog if there were no doggies at the park. Thankfully there are tennis balls around from previous visitors(thank you!). The water station for the dogs in the "Small & Shy" side was acting up, water wasnt flowing into it but someone was kind enough to leave an old plastic tupperware to use for filling. The dog park was clean & it looked like everyone did a great job at picking up after their pups. Will be back!

On our first visit, there was a group of adorable small dogs there and we were excited to have them to play with our girl. Unfortunately as we exited out vehicle, three of them rushed up to the fence and actually pushed under and got out. I was really worried as the entrance is on the corner of two streets with vehicle traffic but the owner did not seem to care. I was able to get all the dogs back inside the park by bringing my girl in...they were all boys so they happily followed. If you use this park, please beware that the dogs are able to get out under the chain length fence in they push hard enough. The park was really dry but there was some shade and toys to play on. They also had potty bags available at one of the stations on a further end of the park. I did not see any of the other dog owners pick up after their dogs which was discouraging but there isn't much else in the area so this did fine. If you watch where you step and are careful not to let your dog escape through the fence, you should be ok.

Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve is such a beautiful and peaceful place. We came for a little…read morehike and had a great time exploring the trails and scenery. There are plenty of relaxing spots to stop, hang out, and take in the quiet nature around you. We even spotted some newts along the way, which was such a fun surprise. There was some construction happening during our visit, so it wasn't quite as peaceful as usual, but the workers were extremely friendly and respectful, which definitely made up for it. The trails are well-kept, the air feels so fresh, and the setting is perfect for anyone who loves nature, photos, or just getting away for a bit. Overall, a really lovely experience. Good time all around and we would absolutely come again :)

If you are driving up Highway 101, this is a fun attraction to stop at…read more There is a $15 fee for automobiles and you can drive through the tree and take pictures. It's a spot that has lots of carved figures that makes it unique as well. Chandelier Tree is approximately 2400 years old, which is cool in and of itself. The grounds are impeccable and this place is always well kept. It's about three hours north of San Francisco so if you are driving through, it's a great place to stop, stretch your legs, and take in the beautiful views. In 1937, the first car drove thru this drive thru tree so it's cool to see pictures of this and that this has been preserved over all of these years. Everyone was really friendly here. There is a gift store that is open during certain hours that you can check out. You can also walk around or sit on a bench and relax for a bit. Please Note: If you have an extra large vehicle, you might not be able to drive thru it, although you can always walk through it if you want to visit the area.

The river is perhaps best viewed from a lovely staircase trail that's lined with blackberries and tons of other wildflowers. Come here to watch the boats pass and explore the cozy harbor area. Walk over to Sea Pal Cove for some excellent fish and chips. Then perhaps make your way to one of the more popular beaches.

It's a large, fenced in park with wood chips on the ground, and trees all around creating lots of shade, even on hot days. Pups have so much space to run free and sniff and play and check their pee-mail. Sensory and exercise heaven! There's a path around the inside of the park that is now paved, so a great little walking loop for the humans, if you want to get some movement in too. The new shade structure is large with tables and chairs. There are a few water spouts/fountains, and at least 3 poop bag dispensers and garbage cans. Be a good citizen and keep the park clean - scoop the poop! Our pups absolutely love this park - such a great place to socialize with other dogs. It's really helped our younger pup who is sometimes reactive when on leash. She's so much calmer and more confident off-leash. Our pups enthusiastically jump out of the car upon arrival, and leave the park tired and content! Happy dogs, happy humans!
