Not a lot of elevation change to be had or difficult scrambles. Just an easy going wide packed-dirt trail. ++ Trails are well maintained! Just be cautious after a rainy season, as mud can be an issue. ++ Gorgeous views of Lake Mendocino as you hike along the shoreline. ++ What remains of the structures at the winery are covered with an assortment of creative graffiti and street-art. My personal favorite is Cat-Dog! ++ Great spot to pack in a picnic or for photos! Grazini Winery is def a wonderful hidden gem not to be missed in Northern California's beautiful wine country! **Caution: Some portions of the remaining structures are VERY close to a steep drop-off. Use caution when navigating the area!

The huge old trees provide plenty of shade for picnickers, or anyone just wanting to take a break from their day. The grounds appear to be maintained regularly and it looks like a controlled dog friendly space as well. The local farmers market also sets up here during the growing season, where you can find all kinds of great local fruits and veggies as well as local cottage industry products. This park is full of goodiez!…read more It's right by my childhood house, and I have been here probably over 20,000 times, and it's only gotten better over the years. It's a great place to bring your kids, to have parties, to have birthday parties, to have adult parties and BBQs. It's just a great place to get together and do all sorts of nonsense. Has: Baseball field, volleyball nets, covered tables, playground for the little parasites you call children, and a pretty big parking lot to service all your needs. All the equipment is pretty new, so it's even MORE BETTER than when I was a child. There's also a Farmers Market here. Every week? Every month? I dunno how frequently, because I don't live here anymore, but I know they're there. :D

Little Darby is a nature trail/hiking area/outdoor classroom about 15 minutes outside of Willits…read morealong Canyon Road and offers a beautiful and scenic short hike for outdoor enthusiasts. The main loop takes you along a creek and through a mixed evergreen canopy, then loops up into a south-facing slope populated by chaparral species like toyon, manzanita and ceanothus. BLM owns the land and did a nice renovation of the trail in late 2012. Interpretive signs were added and a new pedestrian bridge was installed over the creek at the trailhead. Hiking the full loop (which has a moderately challenging uphill portion) takes about 40 minutes. You can also do a shorter loop which takes about 20 minutes. We love to bring our Jack Russell Terrier here for a good off-leash romp in the woods. Two words of caution: some dog owners don't clean up after their dogs and you should look out for "land mines" at the beginning of the trail. Also, during the summer and late fall Little Darby is flanked by a goodly amount of poison oak. If you're one of those people who gets a rash by just looking at the plant, use the Brooktrails hiking trails instead during summer months.

K@TT also provides separate schools; one and two day schools designed specifically for learning. When signing up for a trackday, there are three groups to choose from delineated by speed and skill. You select the one you will be most comfortable in. It is highly recommended that you attend a school first, but it is not a requirement. I have attended many K@TT events, from novice schools to race schools to regular trackdays. I have ridden with them since multiple times, including taking their 2 day school with ken hill. I learned so much, and i hope to return again soon. I have only been able to ride 2 days this year so far but they have maintained their professional and safe environment. Their instructors are top notch and friendly. They go above and beyond to help riders fix their bikes and get out on track.
