I have sold several properties over the years and when interviewing a number of agents I was looking for someone I felt comfortable engaging with, who I knew I could trust, with a good track record and who had many positive reviews; someone knowledgeable and someone who is a seasoned professional. I had been receiving Jack's monthly newsletters for well over two years and knew in advance he is well informed with an intimate knowledge of relevant statistics and data. After meeting Jack the first time, it was a "no brainer" that working with him would be in my very best interests. In retrospect, Jack met and far exceeded my expectations. Above all, Jack has integrity, is honest to a fault, trustworthy, courteous and authentic. Professionally, his decisions, strategies and tactics are well informed by his vast experience and knowledge of market data, statistics and trends. Everything he recommended proved to be the wisest and everything he suggested proved to be the correct choice - bar none. He was reassuring, responsive and reliable throughout the selling process, which was flawless from start to finish. I am very glad to add yet another 5-star review to his already perfect collection of reviews. Thank you Jack and much appreciated. We sold my house and I not only gained a perfect learning experience, but a true friend.

I normally don't write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience in hopes that this…read morecompany improves how they treat potential tenants--especially those using housing assistance programs. From the start, my interactions with Lisa at J. Johnson Property Management were disappointing and discouraging. I came in multiple times showing genuine interest in finding a home through their company, but each visit felt like I was being dismissed or overlooked. I provided all the documents requested, including proof of income and my Section 8 housing voucher, but every time I met one requirement, another one was added. At first, I was told my proof of income was acceptable. Then I was told I needed three months of consecutive income, even though my Section 8 voucher itself qualifies as a reliable source of rent payment. It seemed like no matter what I provided, there was always another reason to delay or deny assistance. Despite having my deposit ready and being a serious, qualified applicant, I was never given a fair chance. Lisa was often short with me, unhelpful, and made me feel like I was bothering her by simply following up. I went to the office multiple times and showed real interest in available units, but I was told those units were suddenly unavailable or that my paperwork "wasn't enough." I left feeling that I was not treated professionally or fairly, and possibly even discriminated against--whether because of my Section 8 status, my credit, or something else, I can't say for sure. But I know I met all reasonable requirements and showed responsibility and initiative. This experience was extremely disappointing and made me feel like my situation and efforts didn't matter. I hope this company takes the time to review how they handle applicants, especially those participating in government housing programs, because everyone deserves equal respect and opportunity when seeking housing.

We were lucky to get connected with Chrissy Lew from this company; let me cut to the chase and tell…read moreyou that she is an absolute super start who went above and beyond in every way possible. To start with, she was able to get us a pocket listing (a house that hasn't been listed yet). If you have checked the Tracy market lately, you know it is a miracle to get a house at a reasonable price; the vertical pressure is just ruthless. She has contacts with various other agents in the area and is usually able to get appointments in a matter of hours. Furthermore, she is very knowledgeable during visits and points out things that normal folks (like me) are likely to miss. She was very involved in guiding us to make the right offer. Once we got into contract, we ended up with a couple unexpected issues and let me tell you, she was followed up multiple times every day with various people until we found a reasonable resolution. I am not sure our deal would have survived if it wasn't for her dedication, hard work and persistence. All I can say is that this won't be my last time working with her and this brokerage. Thank you Chrissy for finding us our new home.

They are listed top price because they are supposed to be greatly improved. I had an inspection and they caught some things that were leaking or needed a replacement. I thought I was home free. I was wrong. Shortly after, things started to fall apart all at once. The first was the bathtub, which they painted with regular paint. Yes regular paint! The paint started to peel off in sheets. I did complain and they did have someone come and paint it, but he only painted half of it and left the tile on the wall the way it was, and this is now also peeling. What else? -Leaking roof (they refused to replace the roof and refused to lower their price but instead put a two year cert on it, however the roof has been leaking above my bed ever since) -Chipping bathroom tile because they didn't paint it correctly -A broken garage door (they never gave me a control for it and when I purchased one found out it was bunk) -A side door from the garage that fell off its hinges as soon as I opened it -A main line that they replaced a portion of, but with the cheapest material possible so that roots will still come into the pipe and clog the line from now until the end of time -A non working garbage disposal -A non working fireplace -A cracked toilet because they tightened the bolt too tight when installing -Several outlets in the home do not work which is annoying. So excited to see what's next! They took all the allure and excitement of purchasing my first home and instead I have a money pit. It's clear their improvements are all a facade and their in it for a quick buck, no matter who they screw over in the process. I wouldn't buy another home from them if it were free.
