LH Brubaker Appliance & Water Treatment - Do you know what is in your Weter? Let us help you find out!

The store has a great display of brands and models with friendly and helpful sales associates (Chad is a great guy!). We were on a tight budget and LH Brubaker worked with our budget to find us the best quality appliances while also giving us great information on the brands we were looking at. I always thought I would be over-paying at an appliance store vs a big box store like Lowes or HD, but not only were LH Brubaker prices comparable, in some cases, they were also better. Top that with the help and information they provided on not one, but two rebates (one not available to be redeemed with purchase through a big box store), it ended up being MUCH better to buy from them. In addition to the excellent level of service, we also purchased the extended warranties and had LH install our appliances. Craig and Mark were our installers and they did an excellent job and took great care of both the new appliances and our home. I feel good knowing LH has their own service department and if anything happens with my new appliances they will take care of it without me having to call 100 places and talk to 100 different people just to have someone write it off, sticking me with the bill. Overall, I search for the best deals everywhere and value good customer service. LH Brubaker knocked it out of the park with our appliance purchase experience. Do not hesitate to use them!

When you have an…read moreadditional 4 people in your household AND apparently the country is in the midst of an appliance shortage. Welcome to my life a few months back...... Washer died, like completely. There was no way of resurrecting this thing. I admit as I was (kinda) happy to see it go. While it was less than a decade old it had this reoccurring issue draining that even stumped the repairman. Time of death could have been more convenient though. I had no idea there was an appliance shortage. None, nada. I didn't even know that was a "thing" or a possibility. Before I went to any physical store I shopped online, which is where it first became evident that this might be a bigger problem than I thought. It was end of Nov, early December and Lowes and Home Depot had estimated availability for mid March - pick up or delivery. This just can't be. Then I remembered my coworker telling me about a scratch and dent store in Lancaster where he had gotten an appliance. Normally that's not the route I would take but I was desperate. K & A was located near the ReStore in Greenfield. It was a little hard to find, and parking could have been better but walking in I was impressed. Inventory was vast and not just for washers. They had a huge warehouse of every kind of appliance you could need available cash and carry that day or via a (scheduled) delivery. It was a bit overwhelming. I knew what kind of features I wanted and pretty much was looking for something with no bells and whistles. Washers have come a long way and I was surprised by all the technology driven features they now have. While they did have some basic, plain Jane models, they were few and far between and in a much smaller drum capacity than fit my needs. A salesgirl came over several times to assist me but really didn't offer much as far as information other than specific to the store (their warranty, delivery, etc ). If I asked her something about a particular model she read the information sheet, which I could do so she was pretty much useless. I did find the process of making a final selection difficult, comparing the different models and features. I probably spend more time than most as I was googling reviews and bullet point features on the models I had narrowed it down to. It would have been nice is that work was done already and featured somewhere on the washer in greater detail than what they provided. Also keeping track of which ones I was considering took clever thinking. I folded the corner of the price so I knew since many look the same. Bring a colored post it or something to keep track. I finally settled on one I liked and at the last minute before going to the register asked for it to be pulled out so I could inspect all the sides/back. (Remember this is scratch and dent). I'm so glad I did as this unit had a back that was pulling apart from a huge dent and the possibility of it leaking was probably above average. I was able to find the same unit but with only a small scratch for the exact same price. I do think pricing should reflect the damage but felt it doesn't. Overall I was happy with the process and hubby came back later in the day to get it. You pay first and must show receipt at pick up but I believe they'll hold it for 48 hours (paid). The warranty is factory OR one year/parts and labor through them. It's one or the other. Overall for the unit I bought I saved about $400 and no one would even know it was scratch and dent if I didn't tell them. I would shop here again next time an appliance fails even without an appliance shortage.

I was told everything was tested and working before it was put on the floor. Got it home and immediately had an error code. I have to go through the manufacture to get it fixed. I saved $200 over buying brand new at Lowe's. If you use your Lowe's card to purchase an appliance and anything is wrong they will replace it right away with a new one. The tiny bit of savings from K&A is NOT worth the risk.

U.S. Appliance Services is the only appliance repair company I use in this area, and after two…read moreservice calls I don't plan to change that. The call that sold me came over Labor Day, when the freezer side of my refrigerator needed repair. I didn't have their contact information handy, so I started working through every local shop I could find online. Plenty of them advertise 24/7 service, nights, weekends, and holidays. Every one with a website had a closed-for-the-holiday notice or an out-of-office message up, and not one of them got back to me. U.S. Appliance Services did, and quickly. Over the holiday, it felt like they were the only repair company still in business. The only reason this isn't five stars is timing. They already had other jobs booked, so the repair itself happened a couple of days after the holiday. That was reasonable under the circumstances, but a same-day visit would have made this an easy five. When they came out, the visit was quick, efficient, and clean. There was no sales pitch, no push toward an upgraded repair, and no attempt to sell me anything I didn't need. Pricing is clear and transparent, and it's reasonable for this market. My first call with them, about a year ago, was for a dishwasher. It turned out they couldn't fix it, so they charged me what amounted to a service-call fee instead of billing me for a repair they didn't make. I ended up replacing the dishwasher, but that kind of honesty counts for a lot with me. One practical tip: text them. They'll answer messages through Yelp, but texts usually get a fairly quick reply. This area has no shortage of businesses that say they repair appliances. Far fewer seem to have the capacity to show up when you need them. U.S. Appliance Services does, and as long as I live here, they're my first call.
