I hired Johnny at Frank and Sons Window Tint to tint my 4-door truck, including the windshield and rear glass, for a total of $650. The installation took approximately 12 hours, and when I inspected the vehicle the following morning, the quality of the work was unacceptable. The tint had multiple visible defects, and it was clear that the installation was not done to a professional standard. After I contacted Johnny about the issues, he agreed to correct the problems. I brought the truck back to his shop, but instead of properly fixing the installation, he removed the tint from both front windows and the windshield, leaving only the rear tint in place. He then stated that he would provide a refund. The refund process took nearly a week, and despite paying $650, I was only refunded $200. In my opinion, the remaining work does not justify keeping $450, especially considering that a significant portion of the tint had to be removed due to poor workmanship. What made the experience even worse was Johnny's attitude when I discussed the refund with him. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, he became rude and used profanity during our conversation. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Frank and Sons Window Tint. Unfortunately I can not recommend this place. Dropped off my truck to have a strip of tint installed at the top of my windshield, both driver side and passenger side windows, as well as the rear glass. Upon receiving my truck, I immediately noticed that the strip that was installed was well below the AS1 line that I asked them to please stay above for legality purposes and was extremely crooked. My windshield tint that was already previously installed was irreversibly damaged as it was completely scratched all over. I inspected the other work that was done on the car and noticed air pockets but was told that it would fix itself and create a nice seal in a few days. I followed all instructions and did not roll down my windows for over a week. Upon trying to roll down my windows after a week went by, I immediately heard a "crunching" sound and noticed that the tint was coming undone as well as slight gaps in the tint exposing clear glass. I called and was told that I would get a full refund for the bad work and to send pictures in that way Frank could teach his team. Frank asked if I wanted to receive the refund through Zelle, Cash App, etc and I told him Zelle would be fine. After a few hours, I called for an update as I had not been refunded yet and Frank told me he got caught up and would have it sent in the next 15-20 minutes. Few more hours ago by and I called again, Frank told me he got caught up again and was on his way home and would process that refund as soon as he got home and sat at his computer. It is not 8:41pm and zero refund has been processed, he is no longer answering my calls, and has not responded to my text asking for an update. I will now have to take this truck somewhere else to get it done professionally. Stay away from this company. Not professional in the slightest and poor quality work. I will update this review if the refund is processed saying so. read more

The new tint had scratches on all side windows. Probably from scraping too hard to get out the bubbles. Then my brand new truck has a cut in the rubber stripping where they use a razor to cut the tint. Poor quality work. Also see the picture. read more

I would NOT recommend this place to any one that i know or even someone that i didnt know or even mention this place. The owner or his son looks about 35-40 year old hispanic. I have a Toyota Tacoma 2015 and got my windshield broken by a company car. They decided to take my truck to get the windshield replaced here at frank and son as they send people there in other occasions. My first choice was safelite but they wer not available at the time of accident. I was told it needed to get the airbag light reset and it will take 24 hrs. When i went back on the following Monday (accident happened friday) the truck was parked outside the shop and still had the broken windshield on car, they lagged and told me to come back later so i did. I specifically asked him how long til i can take the tape off he said 2 days.. i said ok. I also asked if the company had already paid he said yes. Later i realized evey professional that looked at my windshield mentioned it being a bad job.... i looked closer and saw this (pics posted) i went back and told him in not satisfied he was rude and basically kivked me out of his shop and said i cant deal with this come back tomorrow, i was very upset because its a brand new truck and his work was the worst!!! He also scartched the inside interior of the passenger side airbag and said it was the glass, people there is no way this guy charges 400 dlls and does this bad of a job and stands behind it like the work is perfectly fine. He ripps people off and does not man up to his work or word. Do not go here unless u want to get a shitty job. read more

Don't do it. Tells you it will be done by 4 then when you call to check on it they ask for another hour then don't answer because they are closed. Go the next morning and he has the nerve to be rude when I let him know how I felt about not having any answers to something that could of been done in a day. ALSO left glass all over my seats. Stay away from these guys, especially the son Jorge. I went to them to have a broken side window on my travel trailer replaced last November. I was told that it would cost $1,000 to $1200 U.S. to do the job, but he wanted full payment before he would do the replacement. Either I pay, or for me to inform my insurance company that the job was completed, have the insurance company send me a cheque and sign the cheque over to him,then he would do the work. My insurance adjuster advised me to stay clear of these guys. He did get me for the $100 deductible, and I never heard from him again. I considered that a cheap lesson. P.S., I had the window replaced when I got home to Canada, $100 Can. deductible from me, $600 from the insurance company. $700 Can. all in. Beware! read more

I am not sure about this review. I have used Frank & Son twice in the past with what I believe were good results. However, this visit was not so good. They installed a window regulator for me. I should not have not accepted the work but it took much longer than they originally estimated and I needed to be elsewhere. The problem was that the regulator ran backwards. When you pushed the down button, the window went up and vice versa. But at least it worked. A few weeks later, I noticed the speaker in that door wasn't working so I decided to fix the whole thing myself. When I pulled the door panel, I noted that 2 of the 3 screws were missing and that the third screw was the wrong size - the threads were correct but it was much too long and was a 7mm head. I thought the electrical leads to the regulator must be backwards, but since they were attached via a wiring harness, the regulator itself must be wired backwards. Now I'm wondering about the quality of the part they installed. So I fixed it by cutting the leads and connecting them backwards with wire nuts. That way I can change them back if the regulator needs replacing again. I also discovered why my door speaker wasn't working. They did not reconnect it when they reassembled the door. I don't know what to make of this. They seemed to have done at least adequate work in the past, but these mistakes appear to be willfully negligent. How long does it take to reconnect a speaker wire? Surely they have extra screws if they lost the ones they removed? Why would they let such sloppy work go out the door? I am fairly certain I will go somewhere else next time. read more
