Francisco is the goat! Very friendly, professional, easy to work with. I shopped around and his price was very competitive. I bought a used 2017 Ford fusion and I had no idea the leather dash was cooked (literally, they apparently shrink with heat over the years, and it was hidden under a dash cover). Francisco took the job, got the upper half of the dash out, removed the horrible leather and replaced it with a similar color vinyl. Good as new, I'm very pleased with the work. Just make sure to call before you head over, it is a one man shop and you know how life goes. Thanks again Francisco! read more

I've known Francisco for over 40 years. He has been hard at working all these years. I have sent many people over to his place and everyone has been happy with his work. His prices are fair and the quality of work is always top notch. When others say they cannot perform the requested work, Francisco says no problem. Go see Francisco. Sometimes he's hard to reach because he is busy doing a job. Just drive over mid day and catch him and set up a time to get your upholstery done. It's worth stopping by. read more

I recently took my car to Francisco for some upholstery work. I found Francisco to be very knowledgeable of his trade and very pleasant to speak with. He assessed the work to be done, he matched the color of new materials perfectly to the existing upholstery, and gave me a reasonable price for completion of the work. He said he could complete the work in one day. Repair included installing new headliner, new leather material on part of seat and new leather material on console storage compartment. Everything looked great and the new material matched perfectly. Francisco is an artist! If you need upholstery work completed, do yourself a favor and go see Francisco! read more

Replaced the leather on my driver's side car seat today. Dropped in for an estimate. $350 for seat only; $595 seat back included. Francisco recommended seat only. It would take 3 hours, and would last 10 years he said. I probably should have shopped around some, but was so over the torn leather and just wanted it done and done. Didn't want to sit there for three hours, so Uber'd to a movie. Came back, and work was complete and looked good. Cash only. Thanks Nick H. for the info! read more

Who is twice as handsome as Frank Poncherello and works with fabric better than most high end designers? Yup...Francisco! Don't let his blue eyes fool you. This guy means business. He packs one mean pair of scissors and is more creative than Walt Disney and one nice guy! Francisco is a straight shooter. No hassle and no nonsense, he will give you a quote that is likely cheaper than anyone in the area. He uses quality products and has the magic touch. Cash only! I came here twice. The first time was for upholstery and the second time was for a head liner. Both times his quotes were below local competition and both times the service was fast and the product was quality! Overall, this is the best experience I have had with auto upholstery. Francisco is great! read more

Fransisco did an awesome job on my jet ski seat. I called him 20 minutes before he closed and he asked me to bring it in to provide an accurate quote. I headed down there and he quoted me a very fair price. Not only was the price fair, he stayed open past his posted business hours began working on it immediately and had it done within an hour! Along with the fast and professional work, he also added and reshaped the damage seat foam, looks brand new! Definitely going back for more work. read more

What a wonderful experience. Francisco gave me a first class headliner repair / replacement. it was fun talking to him understanding how he got where he is and the experience he had. Additionally, I did not have my card to pay for the repair. He finished the repair and let me go home and to the ATM to get the payment. Trust - A breath of fresh air these days. First of all just want to mention that I went to other places before and asked how long it will take and the other shops all have said a whole day or 8 hours. Pretty good work, but customer service skills aren't the best. Came in Friday to get a quote for a truck seat that needed to be completely upholstered, and since I didn't care to go to another place that's cheaper I decided to come to franciscos shop... Francisco told me it would probably be ready by Saturday and I said that was fine. I really needed it by Monday at 3pm the latest. It's now Monday and this is the third time I'm here today waiting for my seat and it's past 6pm. If he knew it wouldn't be ready he should have communicated. Worst part about it is that he told me he couldn't work on my seat on Saturday after all because he kept getting customers so he didn't have time. To top it off he even tells me "well sometimes it just doesn't work out the way we want"...I had to bite my tongue and not be rude to him, and while I agree things don't always go your way, this is not something you say to your paying customer after you don't keep your end of the bargain. Totally unacceptable. I also (like others), try to keep my business locally but with this type of service it's needless to say I will not be back. read more

My headliner had been sagging about a year and I finally got fed up with it, so I called Francisco after a quick Google search into local upholstery shops, and went in for a quote. Both he and Fernando were very nice, and were able to replace my headliner the very same day (took 4ish hours) with nearly identical headliner fabric. Fair, competitive pricing and great handiwork. Note - this is a CASH ONLY business. I plan to return to get my driver's seat repaired in the future. Thank you Francisco and Fernando! read more

Francisco is just a great human being in general. I've taken a few of my vehicles to him and every time it's been a great experience. I took my Volvo in because the motor went out in the sunroof he said he could fix it not only did he fix it he suggested while he had the whole headliner off that he would just redo the headliner. Just recently I took my Toyota 4Runner in, I asked him to give me a quote on redoing the upholstery and he gave me his honest opinion. He said he would do it but that I should just leave it because the original looks better and to mess with it. He gave me some other suggestions what to do to make my vehicle look new and of course he was right. If you had any questions about your vehicle if he couldn't do it he could definitely recommend somebody. read more

I went to Francisco's Upholstery today not knowing what I was getting into. In just a couple of seconds I was helped and was given a fair estimate for my 02' Toyota Corolla. This is a family run business and I can tell from the kindness exuded by both Francisco himself and his worker. My headliner was a mess before coming into his business now it looks better than ever. Anyone looking to get their headliner replaced or anything along those lines should definitely head here. read more

I brought my car in for an estimate on repairing the interior arm rests. They were torn and falling apart from sun damage. Francisco gave a fair quote and booked me for the following Monday! Francisco is an amazing upholsterer! He worked on my Land Rover discovery and now it is one more step to completion. Honest and super friendly. We spoke for about an hour when I dropped off my vehicle. I have me pointers on keeping it clean and how to keep the heat out of the car so it wouldn't happen so fast. Great customer service!! Thank you Francisco! read more

Things to know and accept: Francisco does a really great job and he's fast, friendly, knowledgable and fairly priced. I had a seam coming loose on my driver's seat (a 2 inch hole) and it now looks amazing. Took him 45 minutes while I waited and cost $75. The downside is, he told me when I stopped by for an estimate to come tomorrow at 9am. I was there at 8:55am and he was there at 10am. He later explained that he lives in Huntington Beach and the rain affected his commute but I read some of these reviews and saw that he has a tendency to be very late. So, I was prepared for this. This is a CASH ONLY business. I was not told that but luckily there was an ATM nearby. I am one who would rather support a local independent business than a corporate one and I've accepted that independent businesses can be less predictable or structured than corporate ones. I enjoy personality and I'm pretty patient. Nobody is perfect. Dude should figure out how to be on time, but damn does my car seat look good. read more

Stopped here after doing research on Google for a local auto upholstery shop to fix a headliner on one of my vehicles since it was becoming an eyesore. Francisco was polite and wonderful. Gives a good quote... Like previous reviewers stated. Asked me to show up at 8:00 the next day; pretended to forget I called 20 minutes prior... His friend looked at me and said "you're supposed to be a ho." He tried to play it off saying he [his friend] told him [Francisco] that he is old old in Spanish is "Antiguo" Anyway good quote but, I don't wanna end up like people he snubs sitting there while he gets coffee. Gotta wash the slime off. Like; I get you may have a prejudice or whatever; but, you should be known for that too. I can see how he is affable but, its really just business. At least I told his friend I know... Gonna look for another quote.. read more

I decided to visit Francisco for a quote, as I'd become tired of looking at my unsightly cracked center console. The quote was reasonable, and Francisco informed me that he could make the repairs within 30 minutes. The newly re-upholstered center console is beautiful, the fabric color and quality indistinguishable from the dealer's. (see pictures) i was quoted $500-600 to replace the entire console, as the dealer wouldn't repair the cracked vinyl. Visiting Francisco was my best option, and I am not disappointed. He is kind, fair, and knowledgeable, and I will be returning for additional work that he has recommended read more

I have a 2007 Jaguar XK that has a drooping headliner, where the edges are what is solely supporting the headliner up. I went to Francsico's place twice to get an estimate. A plain speaking guy and a little rough around the edges. I had been to several other headliner repair shops that were more polished, but Francisco had an air of confidence that comes with experience. I mentioned I was a little unsure about the job, but he assured me he could do the job in a few hours (other more well appointed shops said 1-2 days with polished prices too) and invited me to hang around and watch; after all, this was a car I was going to keep; a future classic. I had seen a you tube video of a headliner replacement on an earlier Jaguar which seemed pretty complicated. I decided to take a chance (he had very good Yelp reviews) with Francisco. I was not disappointed. The youtube video mentioned the removal of the fiberglass headboard took almost an hour. Francisco took about 20 minutes without any damage. He went to the supplier to get a matching liner, I stood guard of the shop while he was gone (20-30 minutes) and had a couple people come up and ask me questions for which I had no answer; they thought I was Francisco. Pretty funny. Francisco is an interesting character that does great work competently and with good value. I received a 2 year Warranty. I would come back if I had an auto upholstery job; no question. A keeper. read more
