We sat outside and it is on the main shopping street so you could just soak in the city and watch all the people pass by. Great people watching. We shared the fish and chips as well as a salad. Portions of the fish were big so unless you are absolutely starving, would recommend sharing.. Both were good. Nothing outstanding but nothing bad. They hit the spot. If you want to watch the people go by and have some decent pub type food, this place is a good choice.

Being a student in a technical university makes you meet with all sorts of people who like all sorts of places. The moose is a favorite for DTU people. So I have been several times drinking beers there and I have had a lot of fun in this little bar. You always meet new people here, everyone always seems happy, friendly and talkative in here. But if you are a cocktail kind of person just don't go there. It's a pure experience to visit the moose. I think it's the only bar in cph I know that never closes. Or was it that it closes for one hour to clean somewhere in the morning. Apart from that you can count on moose for a beer. Always. The beer is cheap (25dkk if I remember right). The only negative thing for me (positive for others) is that it is a smokey bar. So you can smoke as much as you want inside, which is a bit annoying for me as a non smoker.

I must admit...I do miss the jukebox though...

It's a cozy place with many small tables clustered around and a small bar. The bar has good beer on tap and a lot of different Carlsberg varieties. I had a seasonal Christmas been because the server suggested it. I think he just wanted to get rid of it, but whatever. It was good. Regular Carlsberg lager is actually good in Copenhagen because it is fresh. On to the smørrebrød! I had salmon, which was perfect with the lime slice squeezed on it. Underneath the fish was bread and a dollop of horseradish and some lovely cheese. I had to scrape off some of the horseradish because there was too much and it was overpowering. The fish was fresh and delicious and I left feeling full and happy with my decision to seek out this place. Tip: The women's bathroom is down the stairs. I wasn't quite sure where it was so I used the men's bathroom. It's not the cheapest place to dine. But then again, where is in Copenhagen? I believe I ended up paying $17 USD for my sandwich and $9-10 for my beer. The bonus was the pretty canal and bright colored houses. Somebody parked right next to my bike outside, "parking" it in...that's SO Copenhagen.
