This place has a focus on Nordic beers and cocktails. I can't comment on their cocktails, but true to their marketing, their tap selection is all local brews. Very welcoming service (you get a hi and a good bye!) and the bar tender is happy to offer suggestions and samples. The semi-basement space is cozy and clean with bare brick walls and bench seating lining the walls.
My only peeve with this place (and why they get three stars) is their glassware. I don't need my beer served in special glasses, although it's a bonus when bars pair the right glassware to their beer. But at Tap 10, every single beer is served in generic Ikea water glasses (I have the same ones at home, they're the 365+ ones that come in a six pack). These glassess are too small! They hold 30 cl and that's when they are completely filled to the top. Call me picky, but there's something unsatisfying about drinking beer out of an overfilled water glass, especially when you're paying 40 kr and up.
Although I like their beers, I think the experience could be so much better if they got some better glassware. read more
