At Francesca's you feel like if you were at the coolest house of the best dressed girl you used to admire in high school. Everything is pretty, chic, organized chaos, cuteness in small doses and constant surprises. Francesca's has interesting dresses (now on sale they have very cheap and stylish long summer dresses, I spotted an orange one for only $10. Did not get it because I have already some similar ones). However, what attracts me more in this boutique is their earrings collection. There are stunning and with and ethnic Indian flair, using a lot of colors. Earrings cost between $10-15, some more intricate are pricier, but still they look much more expensive and they make perfect gifts. Plus they are not your Forever 21 type of earrings. read more

This store is full of cute little trinkets, accessories, and some random stuff. I came in here with my sister for the first time last time we went to the North County Mall. We've always walked pass it, but we decided to look around for once. They had cute stationary, key chains, scarves and some clothes. The clothes wasn't something I'd wear, but the cute accessories and notebooks would make great gifts. They had nice nail polish for a dollar each too. I don't know how many times i've walked in to this store. My first experience with them is when I was trying so hard just to find this green bag I saw online. I hate buying stuff online and I get disappointed when I actually receive it. I called numerous stores and yet none of the locations in San Diego had it. Everyone that helped me search for the bag in ALL the stores in San Diego were all friendly. I even called stores in the OC and LA because I was heading up there that day. Besides my craziness when I want something, this store gets me coming in everytime im at the mall. I love accessories. Do I need them, no. I still like looking at all the cute stuff. The clothing is really cute as well. Do I actually buy them, no. I stop myself from going crazy. Will power!!! Actually I caved in and bought this dress a few days a go. On sale for $30! How are you supposed to feel safe when the team members will not keep the customers accountable to the sign on their door? I believe the rest of the stores have taken the precautionary measures to wear masks and keep your social distance from one another. Two ladies came in with no masks and it is uncomfortable when people are physically leaving the store because of it. My wife was at the cash register and these ladies stood next to her to ask the worker a question. There is no way that this should be acceptable. Please train your workers to follow the guidelines. read more

I used to love this store, such a cute boutique but after today I don't think I'll be going back. I'm picky when it comes to purses, I received a purse from their store as a gift and didn't love it so I went back this past weekend and exchanged it one more my style. However after a day or so I realized this new bag was much too narrow for my needs. So I went back to simply return it. Both the original receipt and the exchange receipt were well within the two-week return policy. However, when I tried to return it they insisted it suddenly wasn't possible since the I had exchanged the previous bag and not directly returned the old bag and re-purchased a new one. Which is clearly ridiculous, I still paid for the bag either way. Plus the sales associate did the exchange without giving me any other option I assumed that was how they always did things. I even expressed how this didn't make any logical sense and the sales-person just said "Excuse me do you work in retail?" as if that's an excuse for their ridiculous return and exchange policy. After almost 45 minutes, a phone call to the other second manager at her home they finally offered to give me store credit as if I ever wanted to shop there again! I insisted they put it back in my actual credit card and they complied. To top off the whole awful expierence I asked how on earth I was to know about this crazy exchange vs return policy since it's not verbally stated or on the receipt and she pointed to the small frame behind the counter with the full policy on it. When I asked her how someone is supposed to see that she asked: "Would you like me to bring it closer to you?" Well Miss, no I would not because I don't plan on buying anything from there again. read more

Let me just start by saying, I never write reviews. If fact, I signed up just so I could write this one and say how ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Tinesha is!! I purchased a dress for my engagement shoot from a different location in an XS, but needed to exchange it due to a flaw in the one I originally bought. I spend about 30 minutes calling all over San Diego trying to find a store that had another one in my size and no one had it. UNTIL.... I called Francesca's in Escondido and Tinesha answered. She looked up the dress and explained that it wasn't in the store yet, but that it would most likely be in the shipment arriving later that day or the following day. She took down my number and said she would call me when it came in. Just as promised, Tinesha called and put the dress on hold for me until I could come pick it up in the morning!! I picked the dress up in the morning and was able to wear it for my engagement photos that afternoon. This would not have been possible if it was not for Tinesha and her commitment to OUTSTANDING customer service. She went above and beyond for me and I sincerely appreciate it. I wanted to write this review to say thank you to Tinesha because excellent customer service like this is hard to find. I wish I could give her 10 stars! She is really is a stand out employee! I fell in love. Everything I could ever want is here. I replaced any location I would use for jewelry to this. The staff is friendly and cutely dressed and the ambiance is just right. One of my favorite boutiques! I like this one in Escondido quite a bit. You'll find that no matter which Francesca's you go to, they're a little tight in size, however, that's really the aesthetic of a boutique, is it not?! I've never had an issue with any of the pieces I've purchased from this store, in fact the quality has always been amazing and I get tons of compliments when wearing their clothes! I also like this store, located in the North County mall, because the girls that work here have always been really amicable. There was one week approaching the crazy December month of shopping that I happened to be here one Saturday and back the next. One of the sales girls remembered me and chatted with me about my previous visit and my return. All employees are available to help you put together an outfit and are always ready to collect your items to hang in a fitting room. Their trinkets are so cute, it hurts. Like, stop. All Francesca's have them. My frustration sometimes lies in the fact that they're all fixed on one table...and sort of like dominos...if one drops, they all go! I'm usually a self shopper and I'm not always the best at asking for help when I can't find something, so I was pleasantly surprised when one of the associates came up to me and asked me if there was something in particular I was looking for. There was a specific item I was looking for that I had seen the last time I was in the store but it wasn't on display anymore, usually I would have just walked out. She knew exactly what I was looking for though and went to the back to grab it. She made the transaction so easy and was super nice and welcoming, along with the rest of the staff. Store itself has a good typical Francesca's layout, but their customer service needs work. Each time I go in, I am either not acknowledged at all, or acknowledged after other customers who walked in after me are acknowledged. Now, I understand that salespeople are busy with other customers, but this has happened when they are not busy and simply pretend to be busy folding a shirt. Having worked in retail myself, I know it is very possible to fold a shirt or process a transaction, and still be able to greet customers. I am the type of customer that does not like being pestered by sales associates, but when everyone else that walks in is warmly greeted and I am not, it makes me feel unwelcome and singled out in that store. A little customer service goes a long way. read more

I have never once been acknowledged, or helped and I've overheard them gossiping and chatting with each other instead of being there for the customer.
