10 Stars!!! When we had car trouble 1 1/2 hours from home, we limped off 84 to discover Franc Motors. We tried to call Audi dealer in our town but couldn't reach a live person. (They did return the call 2 hours later, at which time Matt Franc, the 4th generation Franc in the business, had already diagnosed the problem.) Immediately after arriving unannounced, our car had Matt's full attention. (And it wasn't even on fire or looking dangerous!) He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the problem to both my husband and me. He helped us decide between the options of repair at Franc Motor vs towing home, and clearly had our best interests of time and money in mind. The comfortable waiting room was a museum to car memorabilia and their proud family history, as well as informative displays on how different car parts work. Fees for services were clearly displayed. While we waited, they recommended the excellent Willington Pizza next door! We are so very appreciative of their thorough, kind and expert service! Coming from a metropolitan area where all businesses seem to have automated answering services, this personal service is something we've lost in the name of efficiency and volume. I wanted share a my experience I had at Franc Motors. We have been using them since we moved to Willington, mainly because my in-laws used them for years with great service. The other day I called and asked if they could do a non-manchanical job. I explained my electric seat on my truck was broken. I had and appointment the next day. They looked at the problem and said I had a broken electric motor that operates the seat. Unfortunatelly the dealer does not sell the motor seperately, they were told a complete seat replacement was available. It was very costly to get an entire new seat just because the electric motor was broken. They checked out aftermarket products, none were available for my truck. Rick said they could fabricate the broken part but would need to pick up material to make the part. I was blown away with their persistence to help me out. They could have said I would need to replace the entire seat and not bother with making a part with material they would have to go and get to complete the job. We all hear about great service but what I witnessed was service that went the extra mile. Now I know why my in-laws used Franc Motors for years. I would recommend them to anyone. We have been taking our personal vehicles and my company car to Franc Motors for a number of years. The service is always outstanding, but more importantly the people who make Franc Motors are beyond category! A recent brake repair on a 16-year-old car made it drive and brake better than when it was new!! Rick and Matt always have time to discuss a problem then explain the results. Not many repair shops have both quality service and great personal interactions with customers. Scheduling appointments is a pleasure, and they always go out of the way to help with emergencies. We also have family in South Carolina and Massachusetts who will schedule service at Franc Motors. Finding a business that is honest, fair, courteous to customers and does quality service in today's world is rare. Franc Motors are dishonest. The owner's Son bad mouths all customers behind their backs with nasty names and remarks.He makes fun of disabled people,berates them.The entire family and employees know this! He has a horrible attitude and work ethic that His Family keeps trying to cover up. He makes lots of mistakes,gets frustrated,cops attitude with customer and calls them retards. I strongly suggest not using this garbage garage, I wish someone could explain this to the post office fleet and any other business that sends there company vehicles there. Outstanding! Understanding! Spot on recommendations! My duromax trucks have had service and repair at Franc Motors since 2002. Matt is an outstanding diesel mechanic. And a top flight gentleman, just as his father. They have provided emergency service. Just starting off with fifth wheel in tow, when engine issues forced a return not home, but to Franc Motors, to Matt and the whole shop. Speedy repairs and back on the road. Matt, Rick, Rich, Bobby, Ky in the shop and Laurie or Holly in the office. I haul west to New Mexico, Colorado and northern states, and into the Maritimes of Canada. Nothing but great things to say about Franc's!!! Our family has been bringing our vehicles there for years and would not trust any other shop with our vehicles!! The staff is friendly and they take the time to go over everything with you. Rick is an amazing guy with years of experience. Franc's has been a family run business throughout generations and we personally know several townies who ONLY bring their vehicles to Franc's. They are honest and reliable and don't try to get more money out of you like a lot of other shops will do. Rick and his son Matt do an excellent job on my classic cars. Both are involved in the hobby and go above and beyond when working on my cars. It really is a family type business where they will spend time with you before and after the work is done to make sure they know exactly what you would like done and than explain the work they did, answer any additional concerns you might have and make sure you are completely happy with their work. Good garage and they have decades of experience, I will say that they always seem to be extremely busy. Rick and Matt have bailed me out of some pretty tight spots and as it normally always goes at the most inopportune time for them and me more then once Rick and Matt has given up time with thier family to make sure I get my vehicle back in safe and working order and as with any good service you get what you pay for. They dont charge anymore then any other garage and I think you get alot more then most garages can offer. read more

Since then I've brought my car there over the years and every time the staff was courteous and the service was great. The thing about Franc Motors is that they are honest. I've been doing business with Franc motors for more than 20 years. They service my fleet trucks and personal vehicles. They go above and beyond to try to get my trucks done as fast as reasonably possible. They've come out to the job site to change a tire, one time they repaired one of our trucks at the site instead of getting the Huge wrecker out to tow it back to the shop. They've on occasion came out after normal hours to help. I've always felt they've been fair with their prices. read more
