Ralph and his assistant were incredibly friendly and polite. They framed a gift for my wife with great care. Although the original turnaround time was less than 24 hrs, I waited until the last minute and needed it right away. When I asked if they could frame it within the next hour, Ralph kindly agreed to have it ready in 1 hr and 20 minutes--and it was finished right on time. The price was also very reasonable, especially for such a quick turnaround. If you need a rush framing service with friendly, professional care at a fair price, they are the ones to trust. Highly recommended! read more

Frame Art Cartersville has created over 20 custom frames for my family and has done an impressive job with each one. They provide excellent service when designing your frame in a variety of styles, thicknesses, finishes, and matte - selected according to your budget and design preference. The non-glare glass is worth every penny. I am so thankful to have found this great frame shop. Not only do they frame your art for you, but they also sell beautiful artwork as well. Their shop is like a museum and the staff are very helpful. They have good turnaround times too. I trust them with my artwork. Check them out! read more

My experience was more than pleasant. Dropped off two items to be framed. Rafael greeted me with a smile and was an extremely pleasant person to chat with. I went there with my son who loves and knows all the different aircraft - old and new. My son was naming off different planes in the paintings around the shop which impressed Rafael. Specifically, there was one of a "Spitfire" British plane from WWII. As we were leaving, Rafael walks out and says "[my son's name] I have a surprise for you" and hands him the painting from the wall. What a kind hearted man and such a wonderful gesture. My son really lit up from ear to ear. Now for why everyone reads the reviews - the quality of work and price. I'm no expert on what is considered cheap or expensive, but I would say both were matted and framed for an extremely fair price. I have been to other framing shops which had way higher prices and no pride in work as to them you were just a number and a dollar sign. Rafael definitely cares about making whatever you bring him special. When I picked them up they exceeded my expectations. I was thoroughly impressed by how neat and clean they looked - especially considering they were rolled up for years and even had some creases before Rafael got to them. Additionally, he did a shadow bocks for one of them that looked absolutely amazing. I highly recommend giving Rafael the opportunity to frame your art, pictures, diplomas, or whatever it may be. He was such a nice person, with a big heart, and did absolutely amazing work! I will definitely be bringing more stuff here in the future! read more

I had a photo that needed framing but I kept putting it off. I hate going to frame shops because they always lead me down a path that isn't best for my picture or they rush through the process and I end up with something less than great. Frame Art in Cartersville was where I ended up, prepped to be disappointed and confused. OMG OMG... Rafael greeted me with a smile and a great personality. Within min. I knew this experience was going to be different and I was right. He is amazing, I wanted to stay all day and chat with him about his life, his art, his business. My picture turned out so good, so much better than I expected. I will never hesitate again to have something framed. Great work, great suggestions as to what worked best and an 6th sense knowing what I wanted. read more

WHAT YOU TALKIN BOUT WILLIS? I am a bit confused by this shop. It caught my attention with a sign that said Civil War Collectibles but when we went inside, we only saw paintings and posters, framed and unframed. We didn't really SEE any Civil War artifacts or "real" collectibles. There were a couple of Civil War posters, (sold at Hobby Lobby for $25), that he had framed and finished with a shiny texture. He then added a price tag of $225. Ouch! Tsk! Tsk! I am not speculating about these posters, I have first-hand knowledge because I own both of them. Here's the lesson fellow Yelpers: Before you even think about purchasing framed art, know exactly what you are getting. It is best to just purchase your own prints and have them custom framed or do it yourself and save a wad of cash. Hobby Lobby prints are 50% off everyday and they have great framing options. You can select a finished frame of your choice or go for a custom frame. If you must pay for framed art, it should be original or at least reasonably priced. I don't know if this is a new store or not but it doesn't have an on-line presence at all, (no address or phone number for the name listed on the building). This shop is located between the Herb Shoppe and Spring Place Pottery on Main Street. Shop Wisely! read more

Frame Art - Art and framing, yes. Civil War Collectibles, no. - Framing Near Me - Rome, Georgia

Love all of my framed pieces from Frame Art. Always does a great job and takes care of us!

After completing our dream retirement home we took the original vellum hand drawn architectural drawings to Frame Art in Cartersville where we were fortunate to meet the owner Raphael. The vellums were badly smudged with pencil graphite due to being rolled up and unrolled many times. Raphael is an amazing artist, and AS ONLY A GIFTED ARTIST COULD DO OR WOULD DO he was able to meticulously clean up the smudge marks before framing. The frame, mat, and glass was perfectly cut making our finished art piece a beautiful addition to our new home. Raphael was a pleasure to work with, completed our custom piece in just a few days, and kept us updated on his progress. If you are proud of your art, don't let anyone other than a true artist frame your piece. We are SO GLAD we found Raphael and highly recommend Frame Art in Cartersville. read more

One of the most magical places to feel art and its expression, and the owner is charismatic and altruistic. I walked in and he drew my sketch on the spot while we interacted with customers and talked about the tragedies and triumphs of life captured in canvas. I was in awe of the atmosphere and spellbound by the conversation and compassion that lit up the store. I will get all of my framing done here forever more. read more
