Pros: Clean, organized, fast service, girl who did my lashes was very sweet, Chantalle I believe her name was Cons: Girl who "greeted" was RUDE (didn't get her name, she seemed young though), she didn't really greet more than look me up & down to the point where I had to ask if I was in the right place; after I told her I had an appointment I was given a form to fill out. Now onto the lashes. Lashes aren't typically my thing but I got a Groupon and figured I'd give them a try Pros: lashes felt comfy, eyes didn't sting Cons: had more lashes on one side than the other & yeah the lashes came off a day later which for me wasn't a problem being that all I wanted them for was a day or so but still I have another application left I'll update my review based on how round two goes. read more

I really wanted to love this place since I live a block away. And as an eyelash addict, I need a place to go that's local. But this is not the spot. There are so many different problems with this place it's unbelievable. First I made my appointment for 10:30 in the morning on a Sunday. I was called Saturday evening at 8 p.m. to ask if I could come at 11. This was totally fine but I had plans for later on that day and needed to be taken in on time. When I got there there was a street team waiting out in front which took up 20 minutes of my time since my technician, Maribel, needed to deal with them. I had to finally insist that we get started because I was on a time constraint. With that said, I like Maribel who seems like a great person. But she is also new to applying individual eyelashes and was working unsupervised. I have had my eyelashes done for 2 years straight at JJ eyelashes and never had an issue with them. If you are going to have a new technician and I am to be someone's guinea pig then you need to supervise them to make sure I don't walk out of there with screwed up lashes. When I was checking out I asked Maribel how many lashes she applied. I paid for 180 lashes per eye and I expect you to know how many lashes you put on my eye. She told me she had no idea how many she put on, that she didn't count. That obviously left me feeling ripped off because if you can't fit 180 my eye you should let me know and I'd pay for 120. But you should also count to make sure that I have as many as I requested. When I got to my afternoon appointment I noticed that one corner of my eye had no lashes. It looked totally uneven with the other eye. So I went back later on that evening and had Mirabelle apply a few more lashes. When I got home that evening and had a chance to look at them I could see there was far too much glue on my eyelashes. And because Maribelle didn't switch from I die when applying them, they were all clumped together. By the next morning two chunks of eyelashes fell off. I was so irritated that I went back because I had an event the next day that I needed to look presentable for. Nakia went to fix my lashes and realized how much glue there was and couldn't fill in the spaces because it was covered in glue. Now here's another problem they don't even have eyelash remover to take off lashes. How are you going to have new eyelash technicians and no remover? That's completely ridiculous. I had to order some online to do this myself. So Nakia fixed what she could which got me through to the next day. But by yesterday, which was four days later, I am missing about 70% of the eyelashes from one eye as they all fell out in a clump. It is very clear that I didn't even get a 180 lashes per eye. Maybe more like a 110. Also, Maribel used a double lash versus a single strand on strand eyelash. This was never discussed with me and makes me feel even more ripped off since she clearly didn't even get 60 individual lashes on. I'm not quite sure what I paid for? I am hoping that the owner who is an absentee owner actually addresses this complaint. There also seems to be no manager so who am I supposed to call? I have an appointment with Nakia to fix these when I come back from a trip and I'm hopeful that she will do a good job because she seems to know what she's doing. I am assuming that I won't be charged to fix what's already been an issue and hoping that my eyelashes themselves don't break off from the weight of these double lashes. I've enjoyed coming here every time since my first visit. The decor and ambiance is so cute and fiercely feminine. I'm always happy with my eyebrows and have even learned a few things since coming, like about tinting. The ladies are fun, friendly and you can tell they've been well trained and really enjoy what they're doing. Wanted to love this place. Second time coming here, first time the owner did my brows and did an AMAZING job, I did have an allergic reaction to the tint to that was not fun. I went yesterday and maribel did my eyebrows. I was not impressed, my eyebrows were uneven and she got wax in my hair multiple times. This is was my second time coming to Fracassi Lashes. I've had brow wax before and was happy with the result. This time I came for lashes and Chantelle recommended dash full which gives a fuller lash look that can be worn day or night. I walked in at 11:30 am on Sunday, no one was there yet, and was done within 20-25 minutes. I really like the rich full look and Chantelle was really nice and helpful with her recommendations. I like the natural, human hair feel of the lashes. I'd definitely come back, but maybe do slightly shorter length which is more work appropriate. I am giving this 3 stars because one side of my lash is slightly crooked. I thought it wouldn't bother me but now it's all that I see. I will update my review if their 2nd trial goes well read more

Went to the Syracuse location and they were AMAAZINGG. The staff were very professional and happy to help me and my friend choose lashes we would be in love with. Maribel did the dash lashes and brow tint for me a few days ago. It was my first time a brow tint, second time doing my lashes at Fracassi Lashes. I had done them once before elsewhere...what a disaster, I lost SO many lashes! This time the lashes came off with ease, and a few days after my second set I am looking and feeling fabulous, now I can truly say "I woke up like this!". A quick easy process, definitely doing the city girl lash extensions next time...and this brow tint is about to become a permanent fixture! read more

Save your time and money. I hate to have to write this as this place is in my hood, but my eyelash extension experience was such a disaster I have to warn others to stay away. This place is employing under experienced people to do lashes. I had a full set on Sunday. Not only was it painfully slow, (she told me it would take 2.5 hrs!) but my eye was burned by the glue fumes. The technician said she had researched "organic non toxic glue" on the internet and said she found none. When I got home I looked and there are a ton of non toxic. less fumed glues. My eyes burned for 2 days after. Now its Wednesday ( 3 days after my appointment) and I have about 10 lashes total on both eyes left. They all fell off. The ones I still have are painful as I think the glue is bonded to more than one lash at a time. Painful, long process with zero lasting results. Horrible, never go back. read more

Went here to try and see if it was possible to find an eyebrow salon around my neighborhood that gave quality service as the cheap places use a wax that give me an allergy and I can't stand the threat anymore. Well not only I ended up with the same allergy but with lousy looking eyebrows...it was the same kind of service for 4 times the price and poor customer service. read more

I have to tell you, I've been getting my lashes done for a few years and was super excited when this store opened! Ever since then I've become one of their biggest fans and visit the salon often for eyelashes, brow waxing and tinting. They're professional and do an excellent job on the services mentioned above. It's a sunday early afternoon, I came and returned 10 minutes later. The 1st young lady was very nice. When I returned to use my free eye brow promotion card, the 2nd young lady didn't even noticed I walked in. After apologizing, she hands me a form to fill out before the services. As I'm reading it I realize it's for more than just eye brows, it's for lashes and more. I asked her what was the form for, she replied very rudley with " can you just fill it out". Not only am I'm feeling uncomfortable now, there was a lady on the phone speaking loudly about sex and more. I'm hoping my lashes are better then the service. I made a 4:45 appt arrived on time and was told I'd had to wait 20 minutes. I asked why and the women said because of walk-ins. When I asked why if I had an appt she said because on weekends they can't promise appt. Can someone explain Friday is a week day, not a weekend (Saturday & Sunday ). I went here for eyelash extensions and they weren't nice nor rude they just kind of seemed like they didn't want to be doing them.. she was getting kind of annoyed because I didn't know the exact length/curl I wanted by name but I'm not an eyelash technician I'm no expert I just want nice eyelashes. I should have left from there but I did it anyways. The lashes looked beautiful when they were first done (even though she glued my eyes closed and had to actually cut them open). So whatever I had nice lashes for a few weeks. I'm letting them fall out now so I can go somewhere else and now I'm realizing that ALL of my lashes are glued together, in clumps. So when one falsie eyelash falls out it's taking a few of my natural lashes with it and so many are glued together that I just had loose eyelashes stuck in my eye. Oh, and she glued one of them to my skin :) so I have an irritation bump there and now I have to start trying to remove that one. Save your money, it's really not worth it. read more

my first experience at destiny usa Syracuse ny w/ Brianna was a very nice experience..but my my second visit for eyebrow waxing not so good w/ Ernesto R.. was only client there so the phone had rung a couple times and he excused himself after he had already applied hot wax to my eyebrows.. I had asked for a slimmer eyebrow and he had convinced me that they looked just fine..I accepted his opinion payed and left.. two days later I noticed that at the inside corner of my eyebrow my skin was burned..treated the burns with Neo sporran and returned to store following day to show them the burns..demanded at least 3 free brow waxing for my discomfort, was told by Ernesto R he would not duo that..so I asked for y money back..he would not do that either because your receipts say no refunds.. Walked in on Monday with plans to exploring all possibilities, starting with dyed lashes or extensions. The young lady who approached us did not seem to know anything except making appointments and talking to whomever I would meet the next day. I confirmed my appointment that night and showed up at 11:25 for my 11:30 appt. Door was locked and no life was present inside. I waited 10 min and then called. No answer. Left at 11:46 and called again, 12:05, still no answer. On my third call, the phone was answered and I received attitude because she claimed to have "waited for me till 11:45am" which was BS. Then Ms Attitude offered for me to reschedule. REALLY??!! I think not! An apology for running late or an explanation for a closed shop, YES, I would reschedule.... but making it MY fault that I missed the appointment? Yea, NO THANK YOU! There are PLENTY of more responsible establishments that will be more reliable. No second chances for such rude and disrespectful treatment. RUN AWAY! read more

I was highly disappointed in service. I frequently get my lashes done in Miami and Atlanta, after moving to NY it's been a challenge finding the same quality service. I stumbled across Fracassi while in the neighborhood running errands (as I live in central Harlem). I took a menu and thought it would be great to check them out and support a local business in the area. I made an appointment and I would say they were great with following up and reminding me as well as rescheduling. I finally made it in and was excited about the service. An hour passed and to my surprise the difference was minimal. The lash count was 90, in which I usually get 110-120. But since it was first time thought I start with a smaller count. I was shock bc usually it takes about 45 min for higher count. And at end of process I was surprised that I didn't have to go through a drying process. She also mentioned during session that she never gets eyelash extensions done although she's thought about it. That was odd and actually made me worry. Another associate was there as well communicating with her through it. Which I didn't mind as much. After the process I was def not satisfied and was willing to get more as I showed her a pic of my results of a previous job I was happy with. She mentioned it will be additionally $50 for 20 more lashes and that still wouldn't give me the look I wanted. I was shocked. I sat in chair contemplating if I would pay that ridiculous amount for more, but I had a flight in a few hours and needed to fix the matter. Instead of waiting on my decision she started eating her lunch. That was the cut off point for me. I will never go back here. I'll have to update my previous review from last Friday as I have been experiencing a terrible time with these lashes. My eyes have been watering nonstop; discharge has been accumulating no matter how strictly I have been following the after care instructions and when I call the establishment today to inform them of my discomfort and ask for a refund all they have have to say is well we can remove them for you but we can't give you the money back you would have to consult a manager. I find this to be very disturbing and disrespectful when I am a first time customer, first time user of the product and having a hard time. Everyone should be entitled to have their money back if they are dissatisfied with the product. This wasn't for me and frankly it wasn't a good fit and it's not working at all. The customer service with regard to issues is horrible and unfortunately unless I get my full refund I won't be returning and will continue to share my negative review.
