I started with auto insurance and due to a series of unfortunate run-ins (literally) with other drivers, I've been in over 15 auto accidents. The first was my fault and every other one was the other driver. Seriously! Who else do you know who's been rear ended THREE times while at a complete stop? Trudy and Linda and now Trish help me with the rental and the accident report and the other guys insurance company and all the other crap that goes along with an accident. One time my fuel tank got pierced by a metal rod on the highway. I had the fire department there and my car was spewing a full tank of gas all over the breakdown lane. When I called to tell them what happened (my second call after AAA) Trish even came and got me and brought me to work. How awesome is that?!?! When I bought my house, I went to them for my homeowners insurance. They work hard to make sure you get the best deal around as far as pricing is concerned. They tell you all those stupid tid-bits you'd never know about insuranc-y things like umbrella insurance. Who knew? He had told me I needed to sign a broker of record doc for him to get quotes. He never stated that signing would switch the insurance agent. He stated he needed the form signed so he could receive a current Record of Loss. I had left voice mails and sent emails regarding the quotes, never heard back. I don't deal with businesses that don't follow up so I never pursued answers. Sept 15th 2025, I open my renewal policy and I have 2 trucks listed that I haven't had since April. I found out AFTER CALLING MY INSURANCE COMPANY, BROWNELL via Rick jrs manipulation....that Brownell was now my auto agent. Made another call and sent more emails.......no response from them. Just the epitome of a slimy insurance sales people. Trust is gained in drops and lost by the bucket load. I called back and was told it was too late, who knows what the charge will be to cancel and I would have to wait until next year. Next time I called for clarification, explaining I had other quotes for less money and was told the fee to switch would have been minor. Isn't that the reason to have an insurance agent? Not here. Rude and impatient and don't care what the customer pays. Agency doesn't shop for cheaper policies. I've been paying for a ton of unnecessary coverage on my vehicles that kept increasing.
