Not being a door expert, I didn't realize this until after we had some substantial rains. The rains mixed with extreme heat... the doors began warping and ultimately coming apart. And there was no way to contact the contractor who installed the doors... so we had to search for new doors. I thought it would be simple but few businesses wanted to take on a job so small as to just install a set of double doors. But fortunately, I came across CaraCasa. I spoke to Patti who was quick to schedule an appointment to come out and see exactly what I needed. She was very pleasant and went right to work taking measurements for the door. Pretty quickly, Patti provided me with an estimate and then we just waited for our turn on the schedule. When the workers came out, they had everything they needed and immediately went to work. And in less than one day, they had taken down the old door frame, installed the new frame, doors, door handle and lock. Before I knew it they were finished and just handed over the keys to me. Unfortunately, we are not experts in home construction so we never knew the wrong doors were being installed. But the doors installed by CaraCasa are quality doors, very strong/solid and firm in the door frame. It's so nice to once again have doors to close up our shed. Although it was a small job, it was quite important for us and I imagine all the work they do is of the same caliber. There is no question we will go back to them in the future if we have any door or window needs. I highly recommend them for their quick, efficient and excellent workmanship.

He recommended crushed granite as a better (and less expensive) solution and took the time to explain why it would be a better option. The granite was delivered this morning and although I have not spread it yet, it is exactly what I needed! In addition, Chris Hubbard with Hubbard Trucking was communicative and helped me place the load in an area where it would be less work for me to spread it. This was a pleasant experience and I am thankful for the professionalism I was shown.

Great staff, nice lady upfront that is always happy to take my money. Sometimes you have to get the metal cut unless you have an extremely long trailer. My trailer is only 18 foot so I have to get it cut. Just be careful when you're doing that they charge when they have to cut it. It's not cheap and it can add up really fast.

Several inch thick solid ice around the trim of every single window in our house. We reached out to them immediately because we were still under warranty. It took them until the end of May to even come and look at it, keep in mind the GC lives one street over, absolutely no excuse. First the owner told us "he's never seen this issue in any house he's ever built" then he said in an email "That's why you don't put aluminum windows in a barndominium". Why is this their standard window you put in your houses then? I wouldn't even put these crappy windows in a barn, we also would've spent more money on better windows had they told us we can never redo windows in a barndominium! We have reached out MANY times only to be ignored and ghosted by the builders. They were trying to avoid us as much as possible until our warranty was out so they didn't have to fix their mistake. After the May visit to our house they wanted us to purchase a $3,000 dehumidifier to prevent the windows from doing this. Prior to the $3,000 dehumidifier we were told after arguing with them about why should we have to pay for their wrong doing they did agree they would cover this for us. Also the Wayne's air owner called me telling me that they didn't even believe the AC was the problem, at that they agreed it was a window installation issue. Then Mike the owner told me "they never said that" yes they did! The problem has not helped AT ALL. Also when he FINALLY came to look at our windows and AC in May he said we just need to keep our AC at 60 degrees to avoid higher humidity, really? Are you going to pay for my AC bill every month? Last week the first day of the temperatures dropping we are left with solid ice once again around every window of our house. We have reached out to builder yet again, he responds once or twice to make you think you are going to get help then ghosts you. These windows are a piece of crap and not worth the money we spent building this house. This was supposed to be our forever home and this is a continuing issue, not to mention the amount of mold we have around every single window and has ruined our dry wall. We would not recommend this builder to anyone and we will be taking legal action.

Hubby called and we drove straight there. Greeted by Matthew & Katy and let me just say, we were blown away by all the information we received in the hour we were there. They showed us around and answered all of our questions, and we had a ton! We learned so much and feel very comfortable about moving forward with the building process. They have a plans guy they work with and also a local banker that specializes in barndo loans... it's almost a one stop shop in this little community. Matthew is super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! Very authentic and not pushy. My husband and I both automatically had a great feeling about them. These days you can hardly get a call back or friendly service anywhere. This company has it all. We will definitely be back and would recommend them to anyone. So many options for building and they do it all from land clearing, driveways... Great business all around! Hopefully next time the dogs will be there. :)

I absolutely hit a vein directly of pure humane gold with these guys! They were so awesomely kindhearted and absolutely amazing craftsman who dealt patiently with my limited knowledge! They didn't have an ounce of pretense about themselves, their skills, or nothing, except for their inherent pride in the work they provide! These are everyday good people; hardworking, straight up and straight forward! I was so happy, impressed, and grateful for meeting and doing business with them that I even turned back around and brought them a six-pack of cold IPA beverages to help them end their day! I'm looking forward to seeing them again soon! The February 2021 winter storms, Uri, in particular, killed 3 of our Monterrey Oaks in our front…read moreyard. Two of the Monterrey Oaks were over 20-years old. It was heartbreaking! After pulling them from the ground and setting them aside, we realized we could see about repurposing them. Low and behold, Texas Urban Sawmill came out to our ranchette, loaded them onto their special truck, and hauled them off to Texas Urban Sawmill. As requested, they sliced each tree trunk longways in about 2 1/2 inch boards/slabs. They are BEAUTIFUL! After we let them airdry on our property for about two years (Devin explained every detail on how to do it) we are hoping to make some furniture, including a live-edge dining room table. If we find we are not skilled enough (we've never made one before) or just want a more professionally made table, we will definitely take a couple of the slabs back to Texas Urban Sawmill to have them make it. If you want your trees repurposed, be sure to call Devin and the Texas Urban Sawmill. He is very professional and easy to work with. He might even give you a tour of his "shop" including the huge sawmill. It is awesome!
