I stood in front of a staff member for a good five minutes before someone else had to step in and prompt her to assist me. She was quite dismissive. On a positive note, the interior of the coffee shop is quite charming with ample seating, which is the only highlight of my visit. Perhaps I'll give Camela Coffee another chance in the future when there are different staff members on duty and I can try something else, but this visit was not a good one in terms of service or food.

When it was returned, the guy said he'd heated it! But at least it was warm and now had steamed milk -- closer to the cafe con leche he'd wanted. They delivered my food plate. And the gal walked away with my husband's food. Walked around the room and then back to the counter. We watched her do this. I walked up to the counter where she was standing and holding his plate and asked to get his food! She said she'd gotten confused. I'd added smoked salmon to the avocado toast. The toast was very pretty to look at. There were watermelon radishes and thinly sliced cucumbers on top of the smashed avocado. On top was a generous portion of smoked salmon. After you order they give you a beeper that goes off when it is ready. My strawberry drink was amazing and worth the wait. In hindsight, I assume they simply couldn't see us. We were in camo, after all. Eventually, employees started peeking around the corner at us like they'd spotted a rare species in its unnatural habitat. Once Summer lost the rock-paper-scissors contest on who had to serve us, she was great and the food was actually fantastic. And honestly, having every employee come out to deliver part of our food was a nice touch. Nothing says "welcome" quite like the entire staff taking turns coming to see the camo people in the segregated room. 10/10 food. 10/10 Summer. Questionable habitat management. The Mediterranean Skillet adds grilled red onions, mushrooms, peppers, Kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes and a generous sprinkle of goat cheese. Topped with two eggs, it is decadently delicious. Bread options included scones, toast or biscuits. Our table tried all of them. My scone was so delicious. I only ate half because my skillet was so delicious and so filling. My friend loved her biscuit and my hubby loved his scone. Sophia was great. She kept checking on us with a warm smile and refills of coffee. Lots of parking on a Sunday morning. I don't particularly gravitate toward floral teas, but it smelled the best of the two so I decided to give it a whirl. I purchased a 3 oz bag for $14 and she informed me the tea is highly rebrewable. In fact, she stated I could probably get 3 cups out of each serving. Love this for me! The shop is lovely with a wide assortment of both gifts and teas. Additionally, they offer tea classes the middle of each month. The next Tea 101 is on Friday, 2/21/25 @ 7PM. One must register and prepay in advance. The fee is $12 and it includes a six tea assortment tea tasting with education. Time to to brew my first cup!
