Everything we have had here has been really good! On our last trip to gristhouse's beer crib we got…read morethe tomato mozzarella flatbread and it was divine with huge creamy chunks of cheese and fresh tomatoes. It was also a very large portion for the price. A while back I had gotten a burger and I recall it being one of the best burgers I've ever had. Everything that comes out of the kitchen looks great. Looking forward to the next time my husband and I can get out to the beer crib and try more of their food.

Really good sandwiches here & it's located inside the same building as Grist House Beer Crib. So…read moreyou can walk up to the counter order your food, they give you a buzzer and you can go grab a beer at Grist House and then just go get your food & chow down. Today I ordered their spatula, which was the turkey Rachel and french fries. It is a farm to fork restaurant so everything is usually fresh and tasty. The bread on my sandwich was toasted perfectly, and the french fries were hot and crisp. They have napkins, plastic utensils, to go boxes, and a water station located on the wall between the two establishments. You can sit at a table to eat either a low top or a high top or sit at the bar. In summer, there is a nice patio outside. Great lunch stop even if you aren't partaking of the fine beer at Grist House. And if you need more grocery type farm to fork foods... You just walk up the hill to Freedom Farms market, and there you can get everything you need from fresh vegetables and fruit to pies and cookies and cake cakes, soups, meats, chocolates.

Stopped for a bite to eat around the lunchtime crowd and OMG what a surprise...usually I'm leery…read moreabout potato pancakes cause I've been spoiled growing up eating my dad's recipe but this was quite the surprise...ordered an appetizer of salmon lox with capers and thin sliced red onion with potato pancakes...only suggestion I have is to serve with 3 potato pancakes instead of to use up all the delicious lox...I usually can't finish any dish I order but had no problem with this one...Bloody Mary was bloody good and spicy also...hat's off!!!! Place was packed but the service was top notch...

Went for dinner with family, crowded so a bit of a wait. Owner personally helped us get a table…read morebecause my mom is wheelchair bound. Great start! Wait service was fast, drinks came and were good. Ordered our entrees and food showed up like 15 minutes later. While ordering a glass of wine, a family member told one of the waitresses that she didn't get her salad prior to her entree (then I realize I didn't either, fish dinner entree), the young red headed girl kinda shook her head and walked away. A few minutes later, the wine showed up, but no salads. Was the only bummer for the night. On a side note, the parking lot is gravel, a little tough to push a wheelchair, but not impossible. 5 stars except for salad mishap.

This was my first time ever stop being here in the winter. I was hoping they would've had more…read moresoups, but since it has been bitterly cold and it is winter, I'm guessing there's soups sell out quickly. In the summer, they usually have up to six different kinds of soup. Anyway, I did get some sourdough scones, and they do have great different varieties of sourdough bread here. There's always fresh vegetables and fruits that are in season. You can get lots of different types of frozen meats. Their pies are outstanding. There's all kinds of jellies and jams and jarred types of things. This farmers market is definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. You can walk down the hill their parking lot and then eat at their farm to fork take-out kitchen located inside the Grist House Beer Crib.

After living in the desert for a decade, it was cool to visit an actual Farmers Market - I'll admit…read moreI expected to see a bit more fresh produce but there was a good variety of products here overall, and note that some produce is kept in the back refrigerators. Cute setup, lots of flowers on display outside - I wish I could have taken advantage of a BOGO deal. Local goodies available from a bakery, plus various popcorns, soaps and natural products in the back. The canned/pickled area was my favorite area, with a locally made chili crisp, chai maple syrup and creative sauces and salsas - including a dill pickle salsa! Will be looking up some of the brands to see if they do online ordering and shipping. Due to our travel limitations, our actual purchases were scant - but their blueberries were fresh and a good size for the $5 price, my daughter devoured them for the rest of the weekend. Local jerky was a protein packed snack option for the adults. Also snagged some cookies for dessert that really hit the spot. If your schedule allows, check out the restaurant next door - it's their affiliated "farm to fork" concept. Also note the grassy play area and swings if you have a toddler with excess energy to burn off.
