We are from Texas and we're not expecting much when we went. Ok - we were positively surprised. The chips and salsa are good - the salsa has a nice flavor and not hot which is good for chips. The queso has a very good flavor. We tried the California burrito which had carnitas, rice, refried beans and was topped with white queso. The carnitas was prepared perfectly - great flavor and moist. We also tried the steak burrito (I forget the name) and it was also very good. The steak had a great flavor as did the rice and beans. Finally, we tried the chicken taco salad which was also very good. The grilled chicken was full of flavor and the cheese, lettuce and tomato were very fresh. I added the green salsa which is both flavorful and has a mild kick to it. This is truly the first really good Mexican restaurant we've found in Virginia! We'll go back when we are in town again. As always, we were greeted with a warm smile and seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and she brought over some decadent garlic knots for us to enjoy while we waited for our meal. Of course, our meal was really nice! A little over cooked coconut chicken, but still very tasty! Beyond our own wonderful experience, I couldn't help but notice the exceptional service being provided to another table. I have honestly never witnessed wine service quite like that in person! The customer ordered a bottle of wine, and the waiter promptly brought it to the table carrying it as though he were presenting a million-dollar bottle. He carefully opened it right at the table and allowed the guests to taste the wine before offering to fill their glasses. For a moment, I felt like I had stepped into a black-tie, Michelin-star restaurant! The attention to detail, presentation, and genuine care he gave that table were absolutely impeccable. While our own service was wonderful, I couldn't help but notice that extra touch of grandeur being extended to his guests. THAT is what exceptional service looks like! Way to go, Vito's! The second to last time we ordered online for pickup, my husband and I each got our own pizza. Each pizza had several ingredients on it. For some bizarre reason, they piled my pizza high with ingredients (which is great) and they put almost no ingredients on his pizza. It was basically a cheese pizza with a few scattered toppings. But we didn't discover this until we drove all the way home. So my husband was stuck with a pizza that wasn't very good, because he doesn't like cheese pizza. I don't understand why they would completely cover one pizza and not the other. I filled out the feedback form AND the contact form. Zero response. Many weeks later, we decided that it had to be a fluke, and decided to order online for pickup again. We were in a hurry, but I figured that if we wrote a note on the receipt to please cover BOTH pizzas with a lot of ingredients, they would. So I did. We picked the pizzas off and headed off to meet a friend. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we discovered that YET AGAIN they did the EXACT same thing. My pizza was absolutely covered - excessively so, including an absolute carpet of arugula on top. And my husband's was basically a cheese pizza. To be honest, it felt like they read my note, and decided to leave the ingredients off of one, just to spite us for asking. I don't know that that is actually what happened - but I couldn't figure out why one was absolutely coated and the other wasn't. It was really weird. So, AGAIN - I filled out the feedback form AND contacted them through the website. Nothing but complete silence. Management couldn't even be bothered to reply or try to make it right. So the only conclusion that I can draw is that they not only do not care about customer experience, but that they actively spite their customers. Don't eat here unless you can watch them make yoyr pizza in front of you. If they mess it up, they will not care and they will never make it right.

They both like pizza, so it was an easy win. The set up here is kind of like those MOD pizza chains - you can basically make your own pizza from any of the ingredients/toppings they have available and then they fire it right there for you. They have some pre-made recipes as suggestions - I went ahead and ordered the margarita and my kids just got plain cheese. The pizza itself was okay. It wasn't amazing, but for "fast food" pizza it was tasty and filling enough that it did the trick. The kids meals came with a scoop of their gelato, which really was a treat for me (I've got one kid who doesn't do ice cream, so I got his scoop of the mango - delicious! - while my little one got vanilla - also good). Service was fast and friendly, and the dining room was clean and spacious. Overall, a good experience!
